Oakhurst Inn at the University

This place is a gem! Monday was jazz & gin, so fun! People of all ages. Great bar, recommended a great restaurant in town. Staff was so accommodating, room was perfect with a patio. Actually this is a group of houses made into an Inn. Beautifully dove, breakfast cafe/lunch cafe is awesome, trendy, so much to choose! Bloody Mary was delish, avocado toast 😋Don’t pass this up for your standard hotel! These people cannot do enough for you!

The Oakhurst Inn is a beautiful, immaculate hotel right in the heart of Charlottesville. The Inn is comprised of a few different buildings, each with a handful of different units. We were greeted warmly at the front desk and told we had been upgraded to a larger, more centrally located room. Our room was very spacious, with a giant bathroom and trendy but cute decor. We did not have time to visit the outdoor pool, but were told it was open 24 hours! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Charlottesville. Very reasonable pricing considering the high quality experience!

The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. The hotel had a perfect location for us. The food at the adjacent cafe is delicious, too!

The first room I was in was next to some sort of mechanical room or some very loud machine sound and the floor was vibrating. The staff helped me move to a quieter room, but quiet is relative. It’s old buildings

The TV didn’t work. The room was very loud because the walls are paperthin. Not very clean.

This was a fun place to stay! There is an evening bar, they have a great Cafe for breakfast and lunch and there was live music Monday evening. The location is very convenient for University of Virginia.

The inn is very charming and the location is great but the room I had in the building where the front desk is smelled musty and damp. I moved rooms in the same building and it was a little better. But the whole building was kind of musty like a basement. There were gnats and ice wasn’t readily available. The staff were very friendly.

Location was very convenient to UVA campus and hospital. Rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious. Staff was exceptional. Nice bar and light bites on site. No refrigerator in room.

It was a precious little Inn we loved it while we were checking out UVA.

Cool modern vibe, private, low key luxury, excellent staff.

Charming Inn with comfortable bed and amazing views. Soaking tub was a plus with a lovely view of the pool area. Staff was friendly and attentive. Parking was not ideal, but plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Valet was basically them parking your vehicle on the street. Don't plan on using your car while you stay.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious. Liked the feeling of the hotel being more intimate than a larger chain hotel. Loved the pool and poolside drinks. Mandatory valet parking was annoying, especially since the cars are parked in a parking lot right on the property.

Great place to stay right next to UVA. Wonderful charm. It was a great stay for us and the staff was very accommodating to any of our requests.
