Bhundhari Chaweng Beach Resort Koh Samui

Great location on the beach. And far enough from the noise and traffic of the rest of Shaweng beach yet close enough for a short walk to get eherever you want to go. The pool area was comfortable and we spent a lot of time there. All staff members were so gracious and courteous. We felt welcomed by the staff. Breakfast was excellent each day. a varying menu of buffet items and the fresh fruit was a very delicious addition. Eggs cooked to order and buffet items were so delicious. Housekeeping was great. We would return to this hotel if we ever return to Koh Samui. The bed! The bed was elevated at the head and feet and was just so incredibly hard. Also too low to the ground. The bathtub had some minor mold issues that should be corrected. The refrigerator froze everything even at the lowest setting. There were a lot of ants on the desk beside the closet and in the bathroom. the narrow street going north had very little lighting and at one point, a very narrow sidewalk for people walking in both directions. But that part is only about 100 meters. The rest of the walk has wide roads and sidewalks.

Outdated property that needs matenance, most notably the shower was cold.

Excellent location. South end of Chaweng Beach. Close to the busy areas but far enough away so no noise or traffic. Since it is on the south end of Cheang Beach, you have to walk north. For the 1st km of the walk there is very little sidewalk space street can tend to be busy with both vehicle scooter and pedestrian traffic so it is a bit unsafe.

Just in front you can have a good and cheap renting of motobike. Friendly massage place also in front is very simple but cheap and good. Very isolated hotel at the end of Chaweng Beach. You have to take a taxi/Grab or rent a motorbike to get around. The rooms and especially the bathrooms were quite dirty. I found a cockroach in the bathtub. Mold of the walls. We changed rooms upon arrival since needed thin beds. But the second bed was not ready and maid was not available after 5pm to make the bed. Upon departure, we requested a one-hour late checkout, which was denied without even checking the arrival times of guests. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. Breakfast is served at a nearby restaurant, but not before 8:00 AM.

The location is amazing, breakfast was of really good quality and the beach was beautiful Mould and mildew all over the bathroom, surfaces were dirty throughout the room on arrival, the futon bed was dirty (luckily enough we didn't need to use it) and the shower mixer didn't work, informed reception didn't improve so we had a bath instead everyday.

The staff are great and super attentive. The location is good. We were given fresh towels or linen whenever we asked and our supplies stocked daily. The accommodation is tired and our room had the smell of rotting wood added to it. The aircon leaked water onto the floor and could barely cool the room. We took a swim up room cause of the swim up bar advertised in the pictures but the bar does not exist. The shower head is not adjustable and sprays directly on the wall (which I guess is where the rotting is happening) Breakfast was included and covers a variety of taste (which is a great thing) but becomes boring after 8 days.

Mattress topper was severely stained. It could not cover the two indentations each side where people had slept presumably for years. Not acceptable. Seaside bungalow 1905 was very dark and dismal inside. Would not recommend this bungalow.

Beach front, wonderful view. The pool is rather small, a lot of children, rather noisy. Very far from center, have to walk. And windows infront of the pool. You are either obsurved by everyone or have to keep the curtains shut. The lighting was bad. The worst thing! When I untied the curtains round the bed there were ants there!! And when I told the manager he answered that they've got "a very simple decision - to cancel my reservation and refund the rest of the payment!! Getting rid of a guest! They call it a decision!!

Beachfront and choice of swim up rooms. Comfy beds . Rooms cleaned daily. Close to bars and restaurants. Staff friendly Bathroom a bit dated.

Take the beach villas. Great views, great location
