Awesome hotel with a lovely big pool. Good breakfast. Well kept rooms and close to beach. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times before and it has become our go-to hotel for Samui. We stayed in a beach bungalow, which was right on the beach. Our daughter stayed in a pool-view room, which was also wonderful. This is a great family resort as it is on the quiet side of Chaweng. The beach is clean and swimmable, The pool is pristine and the grounds are kept very clean and neat. At the beach and at the pool you can order lunch or drinks. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We rented our scooters through the hotel, which was so much less trouble and much more ease of mind, as you don't have to leave your passport as guarantee. This hotel is great value for money. The breakfast area is quite big, and even though it might feel a bit repetative after a long stay, they do an excellent job. Nothing runs out, everything is filled up continuously. Rooms are clean. Facilities a bit on the old side, but kept in working condition and cleaned well. Wifi works well. Airconditioner works well. There is a new restaurant and Tops minimarket next to the resort. Also a massage parlour, so all you need in walking distance. We are staying here again on our next visit to Samui. Nothing.

They ended up giving me two twin beds in a room, which was pretty disappointing because it was just me there….. this was one of the more expensive hotels that I stayed in on the island and I kind of expected more quality. I honestly was expecting a nicer room. There’s no elevator also and kind of a weird smell. Also, the view out the patio was super ugly.

Could be a bit more modern especially the bathroom

Location is phenomenal, good beach access, ac always on Beds were rock hard, enormous cockroach came up into our room through a drain, staff refused to serve room service because it closed in half an hour, staff refused to call us a taxi to the airport

Good location and great breakfast.

Stunning beach! Delicious breakfast! The hotel is a bit outdated, but great value.

The beach was amazing. The restaurants around hace a very good food. Breakfast was awful, very few options. We ordered an omelet and it tasted strange. They only had oranges, and when we asked if there were other fruit choices, they said they'd bring them when the oranges ran out. The room didn't look like the photos; it was very far from everything and the furniture was quite old. We changed the hotel as soon as we could.

We had a room in the building. You can smell that the room is very humid, our clothes were damp. It really is not a good room for this price. I was expecting a better room for this price.. the resort itself is nice, but the room is actually under the expectations. Probably the price is high because of the facilities the hotel provides.

The location is handy with a laundry spot steps out the door and a pharmacy very near by - both that came in very handy. Easy to get a tuk tuk from the main road, which is needed if want to go to the main area of restaurants, bars, and shops. The hotel sits on 2 very different beaches, one very calm for hotel guests and the very end of a very lively beach. We felt the breakfast had room for improvement. We also had a beach bungalow, but it was set back a bit and had to walk past other bungalow's to get to the beach, which really wasn't the view or vibe I anticipated. The beach bar was nice, but pricey compared to near by spots. The pool does not have a view of anything other than hotel rooms and sits near the entrance/reception.

At the beach Good roomservice Facilities. They could invest in this hotel to get a renovation done. Shower…

Loved the location. Staff is wonderful and friendly. Beach was not overcrowded and sunrises were beautiful. Will return on my next trip Breakfast could be improved a little. Perhaps some music at the beach and pool bar.

We booked a beach bungalow with sea view & we enjoyed staying in the spacious room with bathroom (shower over the bath). No complaints. We wanted a low key resort set on a good swimming beach and First Bungalow Resort delivered. - beautiful beachside location (white sand & clear blue water beach) - quiet resort, set well back from the busy road - spacious beach bungalows (with aircon) - large swimming pool - fun beachside bar serving food & drink (where you sit with your feet in the sand) - wonderfully helpful, hard working, and friendly staff - the resort's location in Chaweng Noi is good, and a gentle walk away from many nearby bars & restaurants (no need to go to the busier parts of Chaweng if you don't want to) - Wifi was patchy - the trash washed up further down the beach was an eyesore and sad to see (thankfully, not at the beach serviced by First Bungalow resort which was well maintained by staff).

Close to the beach Siri in our room was so intermittent it was frustrating. When we booked, the accommodation in the building appeared to be a two storied place behind the beach bungalows. When we arrived, we were just outside of the main entry to the resort in a four storey building. I booked a long time ahead and when we arrived we had the choice of the 4th storey, or ground floor, but single beds. Not very happy as we had to take the ground floor because my husband had an issue with his leg

All good, very happy.

The location is nice we booked the beach Bungalow but we got another room , so to summarize the long story, there as some bungalows that are beach front the rest are behind the other bungalows, so the price is the same but not the same view. It is highly recommended to book 1 night first and if satisfied then book the rest of your stay there

What did I like ... the pool was good for laps, its about 25-30 m long. The breakfast was average. The beachside bar/cabana was nice but it allows smoking which is a shame. It does have a range of reasonable cocktails for 200 baht - see picture. The room service was prompt and good even though the room was a disappointment. The staff are lovely. The Thai restaurant nearby is classy and does good food, as does the pasta and pizza place. White wine is very expensive in Koh Samui even at the supermarket - see picture. When you exit the front of the property there is a laundry service/ taxi service/ moped hire about 75 metres directly in front of you. These are reliable businesses. This resort is a fading star that is trying hard to get to a 3 star level but not quite succeeding. The location is well away from main shopping and a taxi or tuktuk costs about 300 baht to get anywhere. The walkways around the cabins near the beach are wonky at best. The beachside cabins are tiny and cramped there is one chair inside, outside there are two chairs as well as various beach hawkers who will always love you. There is no towel rack in the bathroom, nor is there an exhaust fan. Several of the cabins are in disrepair but I understand that maintenance has to be done sometime. I would not swim at the beach - as an experienced ocean swimmer, believe me when I say it is dangerous, it is also at the end of a long canal which is used for dumping plastics and God knows what else - see photo
