Great location, excellent breakfast, very kind staff. You can rent a beach towel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Canale. Our room was spacious, pretty, and clean with a view of the pool and the bridge over the canal. The facilities were modern and included a pool and spa at competitive prices. Our laundry came back clean and folded. The hotel staff went above and beyond. They helped us navigate our religious observances seamlessly and did everything with a smile. They even made a display in our room to welcome us on our honeymoon! The shower head tended to twist and pour water over the edge of the tub. This was a minor inconvenience, but replacing the shower head fixture would improve the guest experience.

Location is ok but not great. It is a bit far from the main street by walk.

Nothing, terrible expirience. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room had a terrible smell, the air conditioner barely worked, the toilet didn’t flush properly, and the shower was broken. Everything felt neglected and dirty. After telling the staff that I was very upset and wanted to check out immediately and get my money back, they refused. They insisted that their policy requires full payment in advance and that there was no way to cancel or get a refund. Only after many arguments did they agree to return 50% of all 6 nights I paid for — even though I didn’t stay there for a full night.

Far from the shopping center

One night there was a strong and terrible smell of sewage. We felt nauseous for hours and could not sleep. We stayed only 2 nights and it happened the second night. We do not know if it was a one-time event or something that happened from time to time.

This place is ideal if you want somewhere really quiet but within walking distance of good restaurants close by and not too far from Chaweng's night life. Pool area is pleasant and I slept like a log. The scooter they initially gave me was seriously flawed and started to cut out on me which could have caused a fatal accident.

Absolutely amazing resort! The staff is very kind and helpful every step of the way. Located at the end of chewang beach, with Tops Daily store right next door, plus other eateries and stores. Laundry, taxi and all these kinds of things are always available by the Tops and at the back area. Peacefully quiet and perhaps even secluded from the rush and business of other happening places. If you're able to walk, the whole chewang street is available and possibly can be covered in 40 mins or so. Due to us having kids with us we were never able to get very far without having to take a cab. The central mall is hardly 10-15 min by cab/tuk tuk and charge about 150-200 depending on how well you can bargain. We booked a family room, which included a large king size bed with bunk beds for kids. We had the pool located right outside our room and there's even a bar by the poolside. The area is located on a 'canal' and although non functioning, gives a very good vibe. Truly and very grey stay here. The room was a bit of a squeeze as it was just over 350 sq. Ft. We had the ground floor room so there were about 50-75 sq. Ft. Extra space with the balcony. The room was just comfortable enough for our family of four. Due to the room size being so small, just a fridge, kettle (with tea and complimentary water bottles) and a safe are available as amenities.

Super thin walls where you can hear the neighbours' TV as if it was on in your room. Breakfast was pretty terrible, as for the fruit, every day the same thing: melon, melon, pineapple. Every single day. No other option. The balcony could not be closed completely, the gap was about 2mm - ideal for insects. Same with the door to the room, there is a gap under it, and at night the bugs crawl into the room. We had to put a rolled-up blanket there, and that solved the problem.

All around amazing location in Chaweng and easy on budget
-
We had 3 rooms for our stay and they were all clean and functional. The staff were all very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Location was good for us and access to the beach was within easy reach. The food that we had whilst in the hotel was all good and very reasonable priced. If I had to point out one thing it would be the lack of storage in the rooms. could do with a few more drawers etc. Although I did ask for more coat hangers and these were delivered within minutes.

Disappointing

Staff were really nice. Room was clean and had a nice shower. Pool was nice. Only stayed for one night but very reasonable for the price.

Very nice place! Area is nice and quiet and good location to get around the island.

I didn't have breakfast but I ordered sometimes food and it was nice, but they close by 3.00 pm where I couldn't order dinner The worst was the bathroom. Their hot water system was extremely bad, unable to take a shower, it took ages to adjust the water temperature either too hot or too cold. And nothing to hold on to climb to the bathtub/jacuzzi and too squashing.

Friendly and helpful staff, small but nice pool and clean rooms Having a gym would have made it 10/10 for me

It’s just a lovely place to stay. Staff are so friendly and attentive. The resort is super calm and relaxing but is within walking distance of the hectic chaweng beach area and the boxing stadiums. They have an in-resort massage area - the Aloe Vera massage is great if you pick up a bit of sunburn. There’s a bunch of tours and excursions that pick up from the hotel if you want to do a Jetski safari or the likes. There’s a Michelin star restaurant literally on the other side of the road too.
