Too many mosquitos in the cafe, maybe because of rain but it could have been definitely addressed. Thats the only downside of the entire stay.

Room 5 was noisy. Staff did move us, much better.

I liked the variety in in the breakfast and the lovely service. The room is spacious, clean and quiet with an option of AC or a fan. Everyone was friendly and helpful There was a lovely atmosphere and very homely I liked that I was away from a busy road

The staff was incredibly helpful, the food was amazing and the location very safe. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were on the ground floor near the lobby, so we could clearly hear everyone around us who were hanging out it in the lobby. We also did not have any windows with mosquito nets, so we couldn’t open any windows and did not have any air in the room (we don’t like A/C). I’m sure that other rooms would have been slightly better, though.

Staff were extremely polite, respectful and helpful. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was tasty and fresh, although limited options for guests who cannot handle the spice.

the bathroom was clean but there were soapy sediments left on the floor. just need some more alertness in care

Deluxe Rooms are small.

- Amazing, quiet location in one of the most exclusive areas of Chennai. - Sound of birds is near constant. - Great breakfast in the restaurant. - Amazing neighborhood to go for a nice walk in the morning or evening - Nothing that I can think of. - We took the small rooms. Next time we stay here, we will may be try one more than the small.

The hotel was located in easy access of a lot of the city. and for a city hotel was quite quiet at night. The staff were helpful and kind. Good and plentiful food. Access to fresh water and a small but useful gym. I organised a taxi through the hotel to collect me from Chennai airport when I landed at 5:30am. It was not there. I called the hotel and they said it was. But the taxi man was not. So I had to wait on my own outside Chennai airport for 35mins. This was totally unacceptable, even in India, but I was still charged 1600 rupees by the hotel when I could have got a taxi immediately for 800rupees. Next time i will know. In the hotel reception they have a sign from Maya Angelou saying people don't remember what you say or do but do remember how you make them feel. Being on my own after travelling through the night, standing outside Chennai airport in the dark I did not feel great to put it mildly. Anxious, Sacred, frustrated, tired etc. I said if they put that sign up then they should honour it The kitchens cook all the food freshly, and the food is good. But on my second night I went to have dinner at 6:30 and was told because another large group had just ordered they would not be able to feed me for an hour at the earliest. Since I was still recovering from travel I was too tired to wait an hour to order and then another 30mins or so to have the food cooked, so I went to bed without eating. I said that they should advise guests that this can occur, maybe put signs on the table at breakfast time so everyone knew. The next evening I went to order an hour before i wanted food to be told there was no need. Just be aware, if you want to eat at a certain time order early. Most groups pre-book their food but apparently this one had not, so other guests have to go without!!
