TRU by Hilton Chesapeake, VA

The staff was trying to be helpful but my room was cancelled for some unknown reason and I had to find another hotel 35 miles away at midnight after driving all day. Not happy

The hotel was immaculate and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. We were very pleased with the hotel and the courteous staff.

Enjoyed my stay here with my daughter. We had the two queen bed room which was just enough space and comfort we needed for 1 night. We were greeted by the staff upon entering and exiting each time with a smile. The room was clean and smelled nice, The breakfast was decent as well. I had pancakes and scrambled eggs with cold OJ !. They had a great spread. I would definitely stay here again. Check-in was easy. Although, check-in is at 3, to arrive at 2:45 with no clean rooms available to check in a mere 15 minutes early was interesting. Nevertheless, the room was ready when we returned at about 3:15. Yay! Plenty of parking for free, colorful lobby with TV, pool table, lounge area, cute lil work cubbies and plenty of room to have your space. Compared to the room I saw at Springhill Suites in person, I would still pick Tru by Hilton.

The breakfast as a good variety and very tasty. The front desk staff no matter what time of day we're very friendly and helpful. The rooms were pretty clean. The floors were not the cleanest. The hallway carpet was not kept clean. There were balled up tissues and q-tips for 2 days. Overall, we would definitely choose this hotel again.

The location was really great and the place was clean however I was very disappointed in the fact that they soaked dispenser in my room had mold around it and the AC took a very long time to get cold. AC took forever to get old and the soap was dirty and empty upon my arrival.

The staff was very nice I hated the facility there was no place to hang your clothes to put your clothes in a drawer there was no microwave in the room there was no coffee pots in the room and the snacks were very expensive for this amount of money this place should have been stocked with everything you need in a room I have never been in a hotel like this before and I would never visit another Tru Hotel not even me and my family it was horrible to me to come in and not even have only but one chair in the room had to constantly sit on your bed the room was very clean very neat but the things that you needed in a room was not there y'all need to fix this cuz this is horrible. When people travel they would like to have the Necessities that they need in a place and not have to keep going downstairs to get a cup of coffee and y'all need to take the prices down because it was not worth it at all.

My stay was awesome. I believe you would like how the lobby was for everyone to be social with each other.
