Smelled of mold and had bugs

The location and staff were very good. We had a family room for four of us, Three beds. The room was sparse. No coat hangars to hang up clothes. No drawers to put clothes away. No coffee machine or kettle. No glasses for drinking water just a bottle. The beds were all on one side and the room could have been arranged better, more than half the room was empty. One small table and one chair for four people. There was a sofa which had a torn back. One small tv. The bathroom could have done with hooks to hold the four towels, not just one rail, for one. The toilet was extremely small and the seat did not fit the toilet. For a hotel it needs to be bigger. Also for four people just one toilet is not adequate. The bathroom also needs a shelf that can hold bath can personal bottles and lotions. In this room you are literally living out of a suitcase. With a few more pieces of furniture and a bit of thought this could be a wonderful family room. A small fridge would be a great addition . Also the two lights were on one switch so we're all on or off. No area lighting.

Pool was not clean, they were human hairs red & blonde hair inside. The water was dirty had a yellowish color some dirt at the bottom. Smell was not of a pool but of unattended one, no chemical ECT . Even though pool was a deception rest was good.

Pool is terrible

Friendly and helpful front desk staff. No water! The hotel shut off the water for repair. The hotel shouldn’t sell the rooms during maintenances. I couldn’t shower in the morning before checking out. The hotel is basically an apartment building. They sell the empty room as a hotel room. It’s a long walk from the elevator to the room. They turned off the lights in front of the elevator each floor. It was very dark and looks scary in the sketchy neighbourhood. There was flood on the roads near hotel and pretty much everywhere in Chetumal. The hotel has a nice restaurant onsite called Mantura. Foods were okay but kind and friendly staff at late night supper. The restaurant closed on Mondays so no breakfast.

A/C doesn't work unless key card is in room... so the room gets a damp humid smell that lingers until the temperature cools down

Some staff were bilingual and friendly. Check-in was easy. Parking was convenient. Restaurant staff were friendly. Pool was not usable, very cloudy (which was why we selected this place online for the pool). Photos are very outdated advertising the room and pool. All outside drinks from your room are not allowed in the pool area. Seemed that the pool was owned by the restaurant, not the hotel. No hot water for showers. Will not stay here again.

The room was very big and the bed was comfortable. The water and electricity was out several hours our first evening. That was a huge inconvenience. Only 2 bath towels are provided. It should be 4. The television was very small.
