The staff was very kind and helpful. The lobby is very lovely and the indoor pool area as well. The restaurant is well attended. The food (I had one dinner there and two included breakfasts) is not great but is nutritious. There's a coffee shop that is very good. The room had a frosted window facing out on a hallway. Some, on the first floor, had frosted windows facing the pool. You can't see out making the rooms like a cell. I came so tired that I didn't ask about a room change until the following morning. The night desk man said something about moving me to the second floor. When I came back from breakfast the person who checked me in was there and I asked if she knew about the room change. She said yes, but an older woman who was there said, in English (up to then most of the conversations had been in my poor Spanish) that the rooms on the second floor are all event rooms. Now, what she may have meant was that they had no vacancies on that floor but I really only saw a few other people in the hotel. At any rate, the room had bare walls and was like a cell. The water was not freezing but barely warm that first night. The next evening it was warmer. There were only sheets on the beds. The person who checked me in did get me a blanket the first night and asked me to return it on checkout. Although the beautiful malecon (walk by the sea) was across from the back of the hotel, everything else in the neighborhood is run down and a lot of it was closed while I was there. Maybe things opened in the evening. At any rate I booked it because it's near the ferry terminal and right on the water. But it's only two stories and maybe you can get a room with a view. Clearly I couldn't. I see why most of my busmates, coming in from Belize, were headed to Bacalar, rather than staying in Chetumal. Very sad.

No elevator and carrying heavy bags up steps is no joke. The sheer drain is blocked so water fills up in the basin. No coffee in room

The location was good for us. We walked to the Mayan cultural museum. We also were able to enjoy walks on the malecon. The breakfast was good. The hot water could have been warmer.

Location, good breakfast , good facilities and hot water Pool needs more than steps needs handles to hoist oneself up when exiting the pool
-
Pool, cleanliness, very helpful staff, location. Toilet didn’t flush properly.
-
Good location comfortable bed , great shower Having to buy drinking water … and as long as you had your own coffee and water …there was a small machine in the room.
-
Each room has a window facing corridor, breakfast is very basic, hot water has very low pressure. Bit disappointed.

I didn't look ke anything. The staff did not speak any English, the room and bathroom were dirty, the toilet didn't flush, there wasn't any hot water, the breakfast food was old. A terrible experience. Everything

The facilities were very nice. The pool was super clean and the staff were really nice. Parking was very convenient and the location was fantastic! The resturant was very cute and festive. The rooms were a little small and seemed older but they still were not bad

Centrally located close to the main streets and the ferry terminal. Comfortable rooms, beds, with a Smart TV, fridge. you could hear some noise from outside but wasn’t too bad. The bathrooms felt cold/basic, the gym equipment was very outdated and not working properly
