Kayan Hostel

Loved this place. Comfortable and clean rooms. Privacy curtains. Lockers. Plenty of toilets and showers. Free water from a cooler. Cafe below where you can sit and relax and meet other people. Seamless self-check in if you need it. I really enjoyed this place. Stayed here in Chiang Mai on multiple occasions.

Bed bugs. A lot of them. First time I’ve ever got bed bugs.

It would have been nice to have a chair near the desk on the wall to sit and plan.

Laundry on premises Great location No soap for washing our hands in the toilet No real common space or hostel vibe you can use the ‘café’ space but before 8 pm.

It’s a small hostel. Not too much people. I love it!

The manager, Lynn, is so kind and welcoming. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. The common area has games and is a nice place to work on your computer. There is complimentary water and coffee and the location is perfect! Close to many markets and temples. Lynn is also a great person to hook you up with bikes and tours.

Lyn the night manager went over and above to make sure I got my keys and checked in as smoothly as possible every though it was after hours. It was a relief and made my night! 10/10 service from Lyn and the cleaning lady!

Staff is the best! Tina, Numi, and Lynn were very welcoming and helpful at all time. I suppose to stay only 3 days and ended up extending my stay to 6 days. The most important thing for me is the quality of the mattress, bedsheets, and quietness. I have no complaints! They offer coffee and tea all day complementary. Location is great. Lots of restaurants and cool places to go at night. There is a jazz place close by with high quality jazz!! Come over and have fun. Last but not least, it is very affordable! :) Thank you, Luiz Everything was great!!

The location is very nice and the hostel is clean, and the cafe is very quiet! They offer a breakfast with fruit, bread and coffee, it was good. But the staff is the best, friendly and always helping when we need. In the hostel there is a point of tourist information, so we can get many value information from a local people, also buy for tourist services in a very cheap price. I definitely recommend! Everything was good

I liked location, comfortable bed, clean room. Very polite tour guide downstairs and especially I want to thank the receptionist Toei if I remember her name correctly. She helped me with the late check in because I arrived so late at night. She left the card somewhere and sent me a photo where it was exactly. That was so sweet. Besides, she was always there when I needed to ask something. Big thanks to the property. I think it is the best in Chiang Mai
