Clean and good locations Might be get loud if some roadworks

The place is very modern and fresh. Our room turned out to be very quiet even though the hotel is on a busy road. The staff were very friendly and nice. The bathroom had a horrible odor. The smell was extremely bad. Part of the reason was that there was no window. I felt it should have been clearly stated that this room has a window facing the indoor lobby and cannot open. On one side this meant the room was very quiet, but on the other it felt like a prison...a smelly prison where the odor stays. We then had to keep the ac on to give us air to mask the bathroom sewage smell. Unfortunately on our last night when we came back after the cleaning, the ac was broken. This meant sleeping in a hot smelly room with no air circulation. I don't know how they designed the piping but it seems all water pipes going out go through this room as well and you hear water flows that aren't very pleasant throughout the night. The price was very good, but not worth it for this room. I feel the other rooms are probably better and worth it, but this one specific room for us was a disappointment.

Location quiet good No privacy, staff tried to enter our room without even knocking the door. When I mentioned it to front desk, they even have been arrogant. No possibility to open windows made the room stuffy.

Honestly loved it here, would reccomend. Just stayed 3 nights with my husband and 10 YO. Was a bit worried as it was a poshtel, thinking it would he full or partying, it was soooo quiet! Perfect area to be away from the noise, but so close & convenient for all attractions, everything is within walking distance- or you can get the bus into town for the main markets which is 70pence PP- it's around a 40 minute walk but plenty to see and do on the way! The hotel was so clean, the staff were so lovely! There is a laundry facility across the road, as well as lots of little shops and food places. Perfect location for families in my opinion. Nothing! If I could find anything it's the bathroom is very small, but this is to shower and leave so perfect for just that! X

Good

Location was good and room was clean. There is no elevator so if your room is on the top floor, it would be quite tiring, especially with luggage. There were also no windows in the room. The power outlets were also inconveniently placed. Toilet is quite small and the sink is right beside the door.

There’s a plumbing smell coming from the bathroom

Small and nice hotel in the old town, in a walking distance from temples and also from the busy restaurants/cafes/shops area, but still in a quite part of Samlarn Road. My room was large, with confortable beds, very clean, and it smelt good when we came in. There were snacks and coffee available in the lobby. Front desk Jack and Tar were always smiling and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. When I booked, its name appeared as J’s Café and Poshtel, but it changed to Poshtel Haven. There is no breakfast, but I used to have breakfast at a very nice place nearby. There are steep stairs.

The room had no windows or extraction fans, so it tended to be a bit damp.

They prepared with heart like “elephant towel” and smell good when the moment walk into the room. Front-desk service with really cute smile which made me impressed. They also have snack and coffee provide freely. Some old bedsheets under bed could better abandon that. It will be nice if the first floor a sink to clean the used cup ( just use toilet)

The hotel is located near the center of Chiang Mai's old town, just a few minutes from all the restaurants, supermarkets, and cafes. The girl at the reception was very nice, helpful, and caring. The room had all the amenities needed for our stay, and both AC and a fan. We liked everything.

Excellent location and lovely staff. The room was spacious and comfortable. The A/C and the wifi worked really well. We also appreciated the free waters each day, as well as the coffee and light snacks available in the lobby. The bathroom has a stair in the middle that we kept tripping on. Additionally, the TV in the room was not working (which was not a big deal for us), and there are steep stairs to go up and down to the room. We also found two large bugs in the room on two different days. Finally, there are no lights by the bed, only one large light overhead. Nevertheless, we would stay here again.

Location, value and friendly staff. Stairs are steep and steps in bathroom are hard to see.
