They dont have window! So there is no air inside your room. Also they waked me up in the room to charge 5 usd bill that they say I could pay at night… terrible

The people were lovely and helpful. The location is in the old town near a well visited temple. No window on outside (house far end), only on the hallway which was dark (both rooms). Then it rained in our room during a strong storm, we were given another room just under, water came a bit down the wall but it was the only room left for 3. They didn't had time to prepare the room, so we found many dead cockroaches and some alive.

The staff and libation was quite good and nice. I don’t liked that’s they renovate the other room close to my room at the night an very early in the morning. I slept not very well.

??☠️? The place is very old and dirty, full of cockroaches, toilet is so scary, the rooms is so dirty, toilet flush not working, like haunted house, if you enjoy haunted house then should try there..

The position of that hotel was very good, but it was hard to find because the address of agoda, booking and maps is not the same. The staff was really friendly. There was a bossy woman (we believe she owned the restaurant which is included in the hotel), who was really unfriendly and didn't seem to be interested in our requests. The hotel didn't have a place to relax, like a lobby or chill area. The room seemed to be very old and there were some moths. We missed a place to leave our staff, like hooks or a wardrobe. There was even an almost break-in at midnight. There was a woman who tried to open our door violently. Thankfully, we could contact a staff through booking App who helped. She wanted to check in and didn't find someone at the reception.

Location was fantastic with the amazing restaurant below the hostel so you didn’t need to go far for good food! Good prices too! I booked the private room here for 7 days. If you’re reading people’s reviews. Then what you’re reading is probably correct. I am not going to write about the obvious things. This hostel needs some love and attention. Yes my room had a little odor from the AC. Yes the bathroom is small and quite unique if you’re not use to Asia bathrooms that lacked ventilation. My humble opinion to whoever reads this! Please come stay here, they need you! Maybe if more people stopped writing poor reviews when deciding to stay here might make a difference. I read the reviews before I chose to stay. So I can’t fault the hostel because I kinda knew some flags when I went into it. But I chose to stay because the location and the private room is one of the cheapest you’ll find. (Yes probably makes sense) So please. If you stay here and write a bad review. Shame on you. Don’t stay here. But if you want to help support a local family ran business and shoot, maybe even donate some $ for the little love it needs could go a long way.! Coming from the USA where you’ll spend $100 a night on a hotel vs $10 a night in Thailand. You better lower your expectations of yourself and your journey.! I’m sure if this hotel had people paying $100 a night that would be a 5 star hotel in Chiang Mai! So please! Come stay here and help support the local families of Chiang Mai! Read people’s reviews. My experience was these reviews were pretty accurate. But my opinion of we change how we view this hostel maybe we can help with our reviews and turn this gem around with a little love!

Good location Rooms were very small. Beds aren’t the best I could feel the springs everytime I was to sit or lay down. The window frame was falling off it was being held on by some tape I woke up one morning to a group of ants crawling along my bed and the wall. For the price I’d hope to have at least a sealed window.

The recemption girl was friendly . They did not clean my room although I paid the same due every day. maybe they did not know what the hotel business is.
