Lavana Hotel offers great value for money for a standard, clean, comfortable room in Chiang Mai. The location is fantastic for the Walking Street Market, fantastic restaurants, cafes etc literally on its doorstep. The room was quiet, clean and had all the amenities you would need. The hot water in the shower was inclement and difficult to control!

The hotel was great. The room was spacious and comfortable and the location was perfect. The pool was also a really nice place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The shower temperature could be a bit temperamental, switching from hot to cold to hot again without ever adjusting the handle. Also the ornamentation on the closet doors was beautiful, but it makes the dust next to impossible to clean, which definitely triggered my allergies

Small hotel in an excellent location in the old town. Friendly staff especially the restaurant manager from the restaurant where you have breakfast. When we went they didn’t have a buffet breakfast as they’re weren’t so many guests but there was a choice of six breakfasts. Note that this is very close to the airport (10 - 15 min away) so you might want to not use the prepaid car service to the airport as it’s relatively expensive.

The location is perfect. The Sunday night market is right outside the door. The staff are friendly too. The breakfast sucked. A lot of items were cold including fried eggs. The shower had horrible water pressure and impossible to keep a constant warm temperature.

Checking in and out was simple, and quick. Location is perfectly placed for the Sunday night market. Room had a full sized mirror, and was quiet. I had a comfortable 5 night stay

Centrally located and preferred pick up hotel for tours. The room assigned to us although next to the stairs & elevator was still quiet. The Sunday market was in front of the hotel (entire street) that was a memorable experience. The hotel breakfast was good. They were kind enough to provide us a breakfast box because our tour pick up was before they open. Same generous gesture on our last day when our flight was very early. Kudos to the restaurant owner/chef. The pool is small but that’s not really a big deal as guests usually explore the unique mountain experience in Chiangmai plus a number of elephant sanctuaries.

The location is very central and everything you need and want to see is very near. The staff is very friendly aswell. The rooms are spacious and cleen It took some time until the water got warm in the shower but that isnt really a problem as it was getting warm after a little bit :)

The location was perfect. Right next to the popular temples and on the Sunday night market street. Seven 11 right next door. The beds were so comfortable! The hot water was in and out, just had to be patient to wait for hot water to return

It’s right in town and very friendly staff, great location. Buffet breakfast was great The street right in front of hotel is uneven.

The hotel is in a good old- town location, steps to Wat Phra Singha and less than 10 min walk to my favorite temples, Wat Chedi Luang & Puntao. Rooms are Well decorated & clean. Comfortable beds. I especially like the bathroom- though small, the shower was 5 star. The staffs are very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was ok, basic Western with a few Thai dishes e.g. PadThai , some fruit. A number of cafes nearby. In all, a good stay, good value. The key cards to the rooms are slow.

GREAT LOCATION! Very near Wat Phra Singh. Wat Chedi Luang is walkable in 8 mins. Lots of restaurants around (It’s a Good Kitchen across ghe street), cafe, pastries shops, 7-11 next door, ATM. nothing
