Operator May is hospitable, helpful and adorable. A basic breakfast and tourist information is available. On your doorstep are massages, tailors, laundry services, a barber. Within a couple minutes' walk is a plethora of cafés, restaurants, pubs, 7-11s, local markets, other shops and services. The Sunday walking market starts just a couple of streets away. The local landmark of Tha Phae Gate is also very close - makes it easy for taxi / tuk-tuk transport. Ground floor common area. Accommodation has after hours card-swipe security. Not much to not like. Busy budget guesthouse in busy Chiang Mai at a busy time of year. It's in a quiet back-street but it can get noisy at times due to scooter riders, garbage collectors, 'gong-bangers'..! etc. Bring earplugs - you'll be fine. I've stayed here before, I'll stay here again. This stay was for several days and in 2 different rooms. Triple room, bright & airy, well ventilated and quite spacious. Queen room, good size, not-so-ventilated bathroom had a funky smell which permeated the entire room. I only noticed it when entering - didn't bother me but it might bother others. Also, firm mattress which seems standard for SE Asia. Again, I found it fine, others mightn't.

Great location and very fair price. The lady running the place was very nice. The room is basic, but has everything you need.

The location was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice to have ac and a hot shower. The main window in the room was onto a corridor with the lights left on all night. I would have preferred it darker in the room. The room wasn’t very clean and the bathroom was very small.

The hotel is located in the city center, with many cafes and shops nearby. very helpful staff. good internet on the 1st and 2nd floor, suitable for work. It's not noisy, there's a massage parlor nearby. Don't leave food out in the open because of ants.

Great for what i paid. Room had everything I needed. Location is perfect close to everything and in a quite place. Staff is very helpfull, you can book many activities from lobby.
