Collection O Khu Mueang near Tha Phae Gate (formerly Lai Thai Guesthouse)

Great location, good value. It was a little older and run-down feeling but the staff is regularly cleaning and the place is clean. The beds are firm but ok. There's a mini fridge in the room and they gave water bottles every couple days. When I arrived I was not impressed, the vibe is a little dingy and the pool looks more green than blue. And my room was small and dark in a poorly lit hallways and took forever to cool off with the AC. But once I cooled down, I calmed down. The facilities were basic but met all necessities.

X Very outdated. Wifi was almost non existent. Not enough electrical outlets. Too noisy, could hear the street noise, even someone sneezing in the next building. Had booked for four days but left after two when we could find other accommodations

Nothing. 1. Beds were not comfortable, hard as rock. 2. Restroom was extremely dirty or just really stained with black mold all through the edges. 3. Shower was the worst part, no curtain or door to shower. 4. Personnel was indifferent, when inq about the facility vs what they advertised on the page, response was: “all images are the same, we don’t upload photos of the restroom”.

The Location and most of all the lad at the bar went out of his way to help. The mattress is harder than the floor and i’m not even joking. The bathroom need to be re- modeled but now.

Better for this Guesthouse to provide insert repellent or coil, better sleep without mosquito bites. Mosquitoes.

Location ok BED BUGS Infestation!

Great location and gorgeous pool. Just a 2 min walk to the central square. Cute little jazz club with a lovely in house band attached to the hotel

Smelt of poo. Felt like I couldn't shower because the bathroom was filthy.

The property is showing its age. Not an issue as it is reflected in the price.

The room was a bit dark, but we got used to it fast. Also we felt like the koi fishes in the pond could use a little more space and oxygen.

The pool was amazing. No coffee or breakfast on site. But there is an electric kettle in the room to make coffee. (No coffee products are provided.)

The area When we checked in our sheets were dirty and the floor hadn’t been cleaned. We asked for new sheets and when we came back a few hours later they hadn’t changed the sheets. We asked again and they said the maid had gone home so here’s the sheets, put them on yourself. The floor was so dirty our bags were filthy after it. Horrible experience 3
