the breakfast bar, pool and river views were excellent. The staff was very helpful. I had some laundry done and buy the time I noticed a few shirts missing we had changed cities. The complementary coke was nice however I wish they had some diet coke or coke zero

The staff were excellent and very courteous. There was complimentary access to snacks, fruits, and beverages throughout the day. The location is slightly far from the center; however, the prices at the property were lower than those listed on Booking.com.

Very nice accommodation, clean and safe The neighborhood was not nice and the traffic/commute from the airport was longer than we expected.

Stayed from January 5-8th, 2026. Overall, a great stay at i-River Chiang Mai. Stayed in Room I-24 - a small room (18 SqM) with a large King Bed. The room was basic and had all the amenities provided. I like that the hotel provided free extra bottles of water at their Cafe any time of the day and also free Coca-Cola (a nice touch). Location was perfect for me as it fronted the Rimping Rives side. It had great sunrise and sunset views along the river. Had a swimming pool (did not use it). Basic Breakfast provided with the room that changed daily. Not so pleasant smell of the sewer that was emanating through the toilet and shower floor trap area. It made for a little bit of discomfort when i slept at night but nothing too pungent to spoil a good night's sleep. Perhaps the Hotel needs to give its drain pipes and other outer outflow pipes a good cleaning.

Maybe the bathroom drainage is too small, if fully open water valve the water can spill out of the bathroom.

The hotel is not far from Night Barzar..we walked across the bridge and enjoyed night life on the way to the market. The bathroom was little bit bad smell.

There’s no glass for bathroom doors so I’m not sure if the hotel does it on purpose or it was broken but it was fine anyway

Location by the river The room was like a prison cell, I was offered a replacement after I complained, but room 24 should be used for storage

Pool and the view of the river was nice Didn’t feel very clean, strong smell of disinfectant when we got into the room. Location isn’t in the centre but didn’t bother us as we just got grabs

The place is incredibly well located. A quick short walk to the night bazar, by the river for early morning in peace and quiet. The staff is so lovely and helping. It's really a good gem on that side of the town. I wish the bedroom would have been a bit bigger.

Great decking by the pool for nice river view. Friendly, helpful staff. Short walk to town. Breakfast ok with free water and coffee all day. Also nice touch to have mosquito spray available.

It's location for us was great, the nightly markets were an easy walk away and the train station for the next morning was 10-15 minutes in traffic. The property comes across a little more upmarket than it is. the rooms were ok and the rear of the property backs on to the river but it is not a quiet street or area.
