So peaceful and chill social hostel.Good if you want some riverside garden vibe. And location’s great close to night market. You can just walk around there within 20min.Nice spot for chill guys! Toilet and bathroom are not so clean and good. But with that price acceptable offer they’ll give you.

Hostel not bad Crazy people all about, serious weirdos
-
small kitchen for use money disapeared from my locker, with lock intact :(( hard and squaky beds

There were times the smell from the bathrooms were unbearable, but be patient as there is little staff and they cannot clean every minute after every guest. They do clean the facilities morning and evenings so just find the right time and you will be fine.

It's very affordable but it also shows. The building and facilities are quite old so the place certainly isn't the easiest to keep clean. But for a cheap hostel to sleep, I think it's great. It's close to everything. But nothing special just a place to sleep. A bit old and slightly run down. Kitchen is basically an outdoor kitchen so don't expect anything clean and modern.

The staff was very friendly, and the sleeping outside was a unique experience. Like camping. And I love camping. P.S. The pillows were great. Unfortunately, this place could be a hidden gem but it is not. There are obviously a handful of people who are living here full time that don't respect basic backpacker etiquette. Example being, the evening/nights are the loudest part of the day. People playing music or on the phone in the sleeping area. There is also some kind of generator that kicks on a lot in the evening and morning, our sleeps were super broken. P.S. The bed was super hard.

The bungalow is cozy and comfortable with a mosquito net all around. At the entrance of the hostel there is hot water to drink 24h. The place is very quiet during the day, way quieter than the night actually. The place could be kept WAY better. There is a toilette with broken tiles and a great collection of spiderwebs. The riverside maybe was beautiful once but now is just poorly maintained. The worst part is that is very hard to have a good sleep. Some fans over the bungalow creak when they move, there's a boiler just behind the bungalows that turns on every time someone uses a sink or a shower, and the communal area on the riverside is a few steps away from the bungalows sleeping area, so if someone stays up chatting throughout the night it's like having them beside you. If you are a traveller that has to go to sleep and wake up early for tours and activities around Chiang Mai I definitely don't recommend this hostel.

I like the community atmosphere, the openness of the common area, the view of the river, free water and coffee in the morning. The wifi didn’t work, charging devices was challenging.
