The staff was exceptional -- so kind and caring. My partner and I both had medical issues while in Chang Mai, totally unrelated to our accommodation, and the Moon Dragon Hotel took excellent care of us. We couldn't be more thankful. Our room was one floor up from the street and was quiet, spacious, meticulously clean, comfortable, and very well planned and functional. We recommend the Moon Dragon for price, graciousness and location.

The location was perfect, very central within the old city. This was our second stay at the property. We wanted to stay an entire week but we had to go to another hotel for 1 night because there was no availability. For this stay, our second, we had a room at the front of the hotel and it was very noisy. The hotel provides era plugs but all the noise from traffic and people outside can be heard.

Nice pool 1. Noise! (Road side) Noise! (Strikes and frogs) Noice! (Road cleaning employee decide in 1 AM that he cleans the street) 2. Pillow size too big - not fite to standard person size. My neck got pain. 3. No breakfast option.. Not comfortable for families with kids.

Lovely property, very clean and comfortable No food at hotel, but plenty of options right next door. The rooms have ambient lighting which looks pretty, but we would have preferred it a bit brighter. More lamps in the room would be nice

Location is ideal. Right in the middle on Sunday night market. Close to many shops, bar, food. Room was great. Even if we didn’t request daily cleaning they left a bag at our door with paper rolls and water. Nice little touch with slippers and robe. Free coffee from 7-11am. Kind staff. Little balcony with something to dry your clothes on. Only downside was the noise. Our room had street view. Earplugs do the job tho. Wifi wasn’t the best. Pool was quite chilly.

Great location, really lovely staff - very helpful with booking taxi’s/laundry, pool area was beautiful and clean, bedroom clean and had a fridge so you store drinks etc. Fab hotel!
