Traveled with my husband and teenage daughter in March and had an amazing time! The hotel is extraordinary! It’s a little oasis tucked away off of the main streets, but just a quick Grab - or ride in the hotel’s complimentary tuk tuk - from old town. The room was beautiful - two bedrooms and a balcony overseeing the gorgeous landscaping and pool. I loved coming back every afternoon to relax at the pool with a fancy cocktail. The breakfast is extraordinary as well. The entire place is just beautiful - lush but still manicured, and the view at night with the lights falling from the trees is stunning. The best part is the staff! We did not meet a single staff member who wasn’t smiling and gracious. They went out of their way to get to know us, wave from the other side of the property, help us navigate the language and options on our 1st trip to Thailand - and packed us breakfasts to go when we had to leave for an early flight on our last day. It took us 24 hours of travel time to get to Chiang Mai and I would do it again in a heartbeat - and absolutely stay at Puripunn Hideaway! If you go, try a cocktail from Jack at the pool bar. Not only delicious but the attention to detail in presentation elevated the entire poolside experience. And that was reflective of the entire experience at this boutique hotel! There was nothing we did not like! But - I would not recommend this location to loud party people. This is an elegant and relaxing place. One note - It does have steps throughout the property. Nothing extreme, but those with mobility issues should just be aware.

Very comfortable and unique boutique hotel. Guests were on the older side, or families. We walked a bit but also quick scooter grabs to get you anywhere.

We had a wonderful stay here! The day we checked in happened to be my son's birthday- we did not tell them, but they must have seen it on his passport, because when we came back later that night they had a cake for him and they had decorated our bedroom. We're always out of town for his birthday and this was the first time we'd ever experienced anything like this. The staff was all very friendly, the owner even stopped by to chat with guests and answer questions. The location was also great! We will definitely stay here again next time we visit!

An absolute delight! Beautiful, tastefully decorated…a small oasis. Set amidst garden like area. Lovely beds, pillows, shower. We also enjoyed the hot tub and poolside chairs. Staff was very helpful.

Small but very well managed hotel. Very neat and the owner Mr. Att puts a lot into it

‘Hideaway’ is the perfect name for this gem. It’s tucked away in an unlikely (but pretty accessible) spot. But when you get there and step onto the property…magic! The service is excellent; the rooms lovely and comfortable; the breakfasts (included in our rate) delicious and possibly the most beautifully-presented food I’ve ever seen. All for a great value. 10 out of 10. Only small negative: the laundry service is very pricey.

Absolutely charming little hideaway—gorgeously set between the Ping River and the old town—with exceptional service from dining to the front desk (we were even greeted by the owner in the morning!), a lovely family history behind the hotel, and a beautiful room that comfortably fit all three of us; highly recommend and would absolutely return!

This was a dream hotel. From the interior decoration to the overall ambience of the property, I made a very good decision coming here. Every other property paled in comparison.

The resort is well nestled in to the side street of the neighborhood. Felt very safe and the shuttle, breakfast, pool, and gym were very convenient and made it so we didn't want to leave!

Amazing hotel with friendly staff
-
Such lovely accommodating staff who organised an early check-in for us, which was much appreciated as we arrived early after travelling overnight Beautiful hotel which exceeded our expectations, with clean & luxurious rooms Hotel provide a shuttle into the old town and to the night market Breakfast was lovely in a gorgeous setting. One day for breakfast it was a buffet setup and the other days it was served to us. I think it was better when able to pick items as less food waste, but that it is a minor point - overall no negatives !

Friendly staff, clean, green, idyllic atmosphere, nice landscaping, invigorating spa feel, best shower force ever with clear drainage. Slightly remote off the grid which was quite OK. Few mins walk from main road.
-
Decor was lovely, especially in the reception area. Pool was very small. No elevators or lifts to the rooms. Absolutely no choice of food for vegetarians. No walk-in shower so had to climb into the bathtub, not ideal for us senior citizens! Bathroom itself was very small and cramped.
-
Lovely property, quiet, staff very nice and helpful to book tours and dinner reservations. Pool was lovely and refreshing despite high ambient temperatures- so much nicer than other places we have stayed at in SE Asia including raffles hotel siem reap. The air conditioning is a problem. We had to change rooms and still had a shut down twice in our new room. The expectation is that you won’t use air con in daytime (gone touring). We wanted to come back to cool and only managed that 1/5 days . The heat was terrible outside 95-98 in April. We talked to the owner about it- he apologized and they did fix it at the end of our stay - last day in the second room. Mostly we were gone during the day.

This was honestly one of the most beautiful, comfiest, quietest hotels ever and we loved it! Also the staff was super welcoming and friendly. There’s absolutely nothing to criticise. Thank you :)

Tucked away but within walking distance of the city, helpful & polite staff, clean room, good fitness room. Nice breakfast selection with coffee machine. The shower set up wasn’t great - the head wasn’t fixed to the wall & kept falling out of the holder. This isn’t a quick fix as it’s the design of the bath/shower combo - quite old fashioned to fit with the style of the hotel.

The hotel decor was exceptional - the central areas were lavishly decorated, the courtyard with the pool was an urban jungle with birds and in-pool fountains and a hot tub. We stayed in both a superior room and a deluxe room. The only difference was that the deluxe had a much larger bathroom and was on ground level. The superior room had a lovely balcony on the second level with a great couch. Both were nice. The staff were outstanding and greeted us as our tuk tuk pulled up. They helped to arrange a valley tour and an early morning taxi to the airport. The breakfast was elegant, with cloth napkins, indoor or outdoor dining, many options and an egg station. The location was quiet but was a little too removed for walking to much of the central area. Once I walked to the market, it wasn't as easy to get a taxi on the street as I had hoped and the Grab wait was 10 minutes. The hotel has a free car service but only at times that weren't convenient for us. There were limited food options within a 10 minute walk of the hotel. The hotel food was very good but quite expensive for Vietnam.
