There are bed bugs in the apartment. I got sick because of my stay there and had to undergo hospital treatment. The owner still haven’t replied me and neither was willing to refund or give me an option for another room. Instead he is ignoring me since the first day. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOUSE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH !!!! There are bed bugs in the apartment. I got sick because of my stay there and had to undergo hospital treatment. Fantastic location with a great bagel breakfast restaurant across the street. The hostel cat is very friendly and often came for a visit. The room has a comfortable chair and easy access to a sunny balcony. This room faces a rooftop bar on the next street and played loud music most nights until (about) midnight. The hostel smoking area is directly below the room, so there was often a smell of cigarettes or marijuana even if the door/windows were closed. These problems are specific to this room only! The bed is also very hard, though comfortable enough if you enjoy that style of bed.

Probably the best room in the hostel. Away from the smoking area and on the opposite side of the building from the nearby rooftop bar. Quiet and comfortable with plenty of windows to open for good air flow. The room is spacious with a comfortable chair. The location is excellent. The hostel cat is very friendly! Constant smoking by guests made the common areas unusable as a non-smoker, even inside the building. While this is entirely dependent on the guests staying there, I would suggest any non-smoker avoid staying here.

The location is key to visit several tourist spots! I don’t have any complain!

The floors were so dirty i would have to wash my feet after walking around inside. The beds were tough to sleep on because they were so firm. I killed mosquitos in our room every day, still got bitten by then all night long, and woke up to more in our room in the morning.

The owner is truly amazing!! Zoe is so sweet!! Nothing! Given the circumstances..we are very happy with Doodle and for sure will book here again.
