It’s wonderful. That I had to leave.

It was funky, rustic and wonderful! We rented the top front room with balcony for 16 days. No smoking rule since the place is wood — but not enough of a problem to keep us from renting!! ?

The bed was so hard

This room feels so good to spend time in! It's so beautiful and colorful with all the beadspread, pillows and decor -- tasteful but also useful. I stayed in the balcony room at the front so maybe that room is more spacious but I had plenty of space to move around and unpack. Lighting is very important to me to make a space feel nice so best of all, the room is lit with two nice hanging lamps with nice shades that are both on dimmers. The space has big windows on three sides, each of which has a screen and a blackout curtain in case you want to sleep late. The room also has a nice set of features including a mini-fridge, kettle, and hot water shower. Internet signal was strong enough for work and streaming. 20 - 30 mbps. I've seen other reviews talking about cleanliness or overflowing water from the shower bathroom as problems but I found none of these. The shower room has a clear lip that prevents water from streaming out. The proprietor was very kind and responsive, helping me check-in and check-out and was even kind enough to come back across town after I checked out to re-open the room because I'd forgotten something. The bed was a little hard -- I like that but some folks wouldn't.

My room was on the street and so you can here some motorcycles roaming at 7AM

Brilliant place to stay. Cannot recommend highly enough. Our second stay here (five years apart). Brilliant balcony. A great hole in the wall corner shop to pick up a Chang for your afternoon balcony hangs.

The room would be perfect with a water boiler and some shelf in the bathroom for toiletries.

nothing The restroom is very small and smelly. The shower is very close to the toilet that I cannot even have some space to stand and when I took a shower, some water splash outside on the floor room. A bed sheet is a bit dirty and it’s not comfortable at all. The light was broken. There was only one was available so it made the room was very dark. It’s bad experience for me

Very creative interplay between old teak and modern remodel. My room had zero space.
