My room was probably shut at all time so as soon as I got in, I could feel the heat in the air. This place could be noisy at times even with earplugs on because of the bikes in the alley especially at late night.

The bathrooms were pretty nice, but the water pressure was a little low, and hot water wasn't always consistent. However, it really wasn't too bad. If you're counting on a pool, just double check, because it was under repair during our stay. It's not a negative, but pictures of the lobby don't match what's there now. There isn't a cafe, and most of the seating has been removed or rearranged. It's still a great lobby, with a couple of couches and a long bar for eating. There's free coffee and tea as well. In our room, there wasn't any side tables or really anywhere to lay smaller items. Wasn't a big deal, but maybe a recommendation for a small improvement ?

Everything looked and smelt very clean, I could tell the sheets had been washed (unlike some other hostels I’ve been too). I booked only for one night at first and ended up staying for 4 - in the private room. One of the showers did have an issue with draining and it ended up flooding the outside floor a bit, all the other showers worked well though so I just avoided the one bathroom.

Everything! I love this place! I always come here when I land in Chiang Mai! Comfortable, quiet and great location!

I love this place! It is why I keep coming back! The beds are comfortable, staff is nice, it is mostly quiet(only not when there is a guest that closes doors loudly). I love the cat. Easy to get places and just over all comfortable! Except some guests closing doors loudly which is not the place, I have no complaints here! I will keep coming back! And I always extend my stay!

I loved how quiet and clean this hostel was, and the location was convenient for anything you need in Chiang Mai.

Best Hostel in Chiang Mai. Clean, Calm, Kind. Junior, the cat, is the sweetest baby! If you are a guest here or anywhere, please be considerate to others by speaking quietly, using headphones all the time and not being noisy. This hostel had mostly considerate guests, but some have not yet learned the finesse of traveling and living abroad with respect.

Stay Here hostel is the best. I've lived at many hostels in Thailand (and globally) and Stay Here is my favorite. It has been my home for over a month. It is a clean and quiet hostel with a zen vibe that seems to be maintained by the staff and guests. Def NOT a party place. Wow and Daisy are the best hosts and the cleaning staff are so kind and detailed. Thanks for being such considerate, amazing people. I "stayed here" ;) with my husband and our friend, and we made friends as well and had some amazing conversations in the smoking area. (420 friendly) Super clean, comfy/huge bed, gorgeous building, spacious, space to do yoga/exercise/meditate, many *clean* bathrooms, lovely neighbors and kitties, especially Junior (black and white cat). Thank you for arranging the furniture for us to do yoga, and giving us new years eve fruit juice and fruit! So generous. My spouse and I will be back next year. Thank you for speaking Thai with me. We love you! Bring earplugs. The neighborhood chatter, garbage trucks and fighting kitties begins at 5am. :D Still an amazing place and still got some incredible sleep here.

I lived here one month. Even on NYE it was peaceful. If you're looking for a calm place and serene neighborhood...STAY HERE! Nothing. It's perfect. It's what a hostel should be.

Regret not staying longer. Bed was super comfortable, AC is new and effective, bathroom is pretty and clean!

This is such a nice place to stay! We stayed 1 night in a private room and then 2 nights in a 4-bed dorm, and both were great and had air conditioning. In the dorm there was a light and outlet at each bed, and since there were only 4 beds there was enough room for everyone’s bags. Very clean and there are plenty of bathrooms. They have some of the comfiest beds/sheets we’ve had in a hostel. It’s a very peaceful place, the other guests were chill and respectful. They only have staff during regular business hours but they have an easy self check-in process if you arrive later. Wifi worked well, and there are some nice common areas. Really good value for money.

nice and quiet area. provides drinking water, coffee and tea. comfy bed (I like hard bed) many toilet + shower room Would be great to have extra toilet paper Would be great if dorm bed has curtain for privacy

I love the location, the comfortable beds. I would stay there again

The rooms and bathrooms seemed clean. In my 4bed door room, there were 5 people, so 2 people on one of the twin beds. I have never had that happen in a hostel before and I wasn’t impressed. The room was small enough that having 5 people was too much. The “pool” was also out of order as well. The pictures make it look a lot bigger than it actually is.

It would have been good if the room had some sort of a night stand or some object to place items on

I loved the comfort of the beds. I liked the social areas, and that it had a kitchen. It is a peaceful place. And it is very close to some great cafes and Thai restaurants. They told me all private rooms were booked at one point, so I booked a dorm immediately, and when a private room came available within minutes, they helped me get it booked on booking. Very sweet. I ended up staying 2 weeks! Completely worth it! I'll be back! I didn't like that any time someone talked in the social area downstairs it sounded like someone was speaking right outside my bedroom door, the floor is wood so it doesn't keep out the voices downstairs.
