One of our favorite places to stay.

Stayed 1 not for business clean safe and convenient location

The worst thing was the woman Nariyah on reception, I don’t know why she is in customer service. She was so incredibly rude & didn’t raise a smile or a “how are you” once. Upon checkout I’d left my passport in the room, I had a car waiting and there was no urgency, she radios someone and mumbled that they’ll “call me back in a while”. She could not care less. I watched her check people in with the same bad attitude. I’ve never paid so much for a stay that may as well have been a motel because you literally get a room and nothing else.

This hotel was very cool and updated. The room was clean and it was in a great location. The staff was polite. We did not dine there so I cannot comment on the food.

This was my first visit to Chicago, and the staff were incredibly helpful in helping me find a couple of really good restaurants.

This was an old worn down hotel. The lobby is fancy but the rest of it was a wreck. Small rooms, warn, scratched paint, peeling wallpaper, chipped tiles in the baths, broken and slow elevators (give yourself 20 minutes just to get to the lobby). I was amazingly disappointed. The loop location was good for our visit, but we won’t be back.

Very good place to stay walking distance for what ever you need

My guest room at the Canopy by Hilton Chicago was beautifully appointed, and I especially appreciated the Nespresso machine and the refillable water bottle—both thoughtful touches. However, the lobby felt a bit worn, and the coffee bar and main bar, despite being described as 24 hours, had limited operating hours. The location is excellent, with easy access to major Chicago attractions, restaurants, and coffee shops. The biggest disappointment was the service: the desk clerk I interacted with was perfunctory and disengaged, both in person and over the phone. I had to initiate and close every interaction, which left me feeling unwelcome. Unfortunately, that experience alone makes me hesitant to stay here again.

The decor of the hotel and room was lovely. I am a fan of art deco and the rooms were done perfectly. Whoever decided having a master power switch in a guest room without telling the guest they could turn off their ability to have lights in the middle of the night is an absolute moron. Can’t say enough how idiotic the concept is in a hotel room.
