Hotel Chicago Downtown, Autograph Collection by Marriott

Decent hotel with great location. Breakfast was quite disappointing. Very similar to what you would find at any low cost chain hotel. Not befitting of a Marriott in a major city

I would definitely stay here again when I visit Chicago not far from the places I wanted to visit!

Didn't find anything unique about the property. Bathroom lights were coated in dust, ceiling in bathroom had dark red spots on it and the shampoo bottle was completely empty. Also air conditioner wouldn't cool off the room. Beds are comfy.

Facility was nice. Resort fee was lame cuz couldn’t use it for coffee. 2 of 3 staff I interacted with were unfriendly, and unhelpful. 1 of 3 was great.

Thank you for taking wonderful care of my 2 kids and myself. We had a wonderful experience. Very friendly staff that offered suggestions on food and activities. Breakfast was very good and loved the member lounge with 24 hour pop and water.

Great location, right in the heart of the city. The staff was really friendly, and the rooms were nice and clean. This is my second time staying here and I would come back.

My wife and I stayed here for a night while going to a concert at The House of Blues. The location could not be more perfect. We were able to walk to breakfast and an architecture boat tour all before checkout. The only downside was insanely slow and not communicating valet. That process has to be improved. If other hotels in this price point can give live updates that should be the expectation in 2026.

The hotel was in a great location to everything downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. I didn't like that they had a destination fee but I does give you a $15 food/bar credit. The only thing I wish they had in the room was a full length mirror.

Property was clean and we had access to a good portion of the city with no issues.

The only issue with our stay was room service they can knock or call us to let us know our food was ready
