The room was clean, spacious, and modern. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Water pressure in the large shower was delightfully strong, and had both rainfall and standard/handheld showerheads. The windows are thick and extra-insulated against noise; even though my room faced the train tracks, the train noise was substantially muted. Staff were helpful, friendly, and responsive. The property feels safe and secure. The hotel provides reusable metal water bottles and ultra-filtered water filling stations - a thoughtful and environmentally conscious amenity. The hotel is in a convenient location near the river walk, close to restaurants and shopping.

Overall a good stay. Be aware they will try to sell you a time share. Had I known that, I would have chosen another place. Regardless , the rooms were good, they offered a complimentary happy hour on the rooftop bar which was nice. Great location. Although they pushed the valet parking, there is a private garage around the corner ($60/night).

Very good location near the river and the CTA stop. Nice lobby staff and bar personnel on the roof The roof top happy hour was nice but it would have been nice to be able to use that space outside of happy hour. Maybe just lock up the bar, put a coffee machine up there and let your guests enjoy the views. Especially as there is NOWHERE to sit in the lobby if one wants to chill or check something The furniture is tatty but they said it was going to be replaced soon . Other hotels I have stayed at use that roof terrace space very effectively

The staff was amazing. The hotel was beautifully refurbished. I liked the fact that they also offered wristband card keys. But, back to the staff, they greeted us every time we walked into the hotel, and every time we left, they bid us farewell. They were full of useful information about the city and surrounding areas. They gave us great recommendations on food, entertainment, and transportation. The service that the staff provided truly felt like a five star resort.

Room was spacious and clean, and well maintained. The only issue we had was we couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi for the TV for streaming, I text the number they gave for the front desk and someone came up in under 5 minutes and fixed it! We also never waited for the elevators, they were all in working order and constantly running! We will be back to this hotel next month!

Check-in was fast. Room was spacious for Chicago standards. Staff gets 5 -stars all around. The only shortcoming was with the tailgate amenities. Drinks were plentiful but they ran out of food, especially at brunch. Nevertheless, we would stay here again because the location is great and it was a good value.

Friendly staff! Happy hour on rooftop. Even had key brackets! We loved everything but needed breakfast.

I stayed on the 9th floor in room 911, I booked the one bedroom suite, it was beautiful! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept so well. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quiet the room was. I could barely hear the train, which was a huge plus. The gym was useful, and the rooftop was SO much fun! The complimentary food and drinks were such a nice touch and made the experience even better. The coffee was delicious too. I loved having coffee in the room, and the complimentary coffee available in the lobby coffee shop was just as good. Another thing that came in handy was the microwave on the 2nd floor. We used it to reheat our Chicago pizza, and having that convenience was great. Speaking of the 2nd floor, that space is SO beautiful! It was one of my favorite areas of the resort. I’ll admit, when I first booked, I chose the non-refundable option. As my trip got closer, I started reading some of the most recent reviews, and honestly, they were so scary that I was trying to figure out how I could cancel my reservation. Well, I’m actually so glad I couldn’t—and didn’t! My personal experience was wonderful, and I will definitely be booking this resort again. Thank you, Sports Illustrated Resort, for a pleasant stay! I truly enjoyed my visit and can’t wait to come back.

The location is central and the rooms are spacious. House keeping is not available daily and I had to wait 40 min for fresh towels.
