The shower doors were installed backwards

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and everything was perfect from start to finish. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again!
-
Very nice hotel. Very clean. Staff very friendly. In a great area.
-
They did not upgrade despite availability to do so for a special occasion and being repeat guests
-
I also really appreciated the thoughtful personal touch in the room. When I arrived, the TV screen displayed a personalized welcome message with my name on it, which made me feel very welcomed and added a warm, special touch to the stay. The room was a little smaller than I expected. One slightly awkward thing was the view from our window—it faced directly toward Trump Tower, with the huge “TRUMP” letters prominently visible right across from us. It was a little distracting and not exactly the view I had imagined. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The excellent location, beautiful river views, historic architecture, and thoughtful details made it a memorable experience.

I would not book here again. There’s an extra $25 charge each night that the staff does not inform you about, which I’m not sure why because the hotel does not have a pool or any other amenities besides a small gym. The rooftop bar was closed for a personal event one of the nights of my stay so I had no access to it.
-
Great hotel worth amazing views, quite safe, great location and the roof top bar was fun. The staff was kind and cleaned the rooms frequently with new sheets and towels. Id definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful

We absolutely loved it here. You have to get the river view! Property is clean and staff is so hopeful a nice! Worth every dollar spent!
-
Across from the river, minutes from the Navy Pier. In walking distance from everything.
-
I recommend 100%

The rooms were spacious and had many amenities. The staff was very helpful. Great location across from the Michigan River. Lots to see and do in the area.
-
Our hotel room was fine but the door provided no sound protection and we heard everything in the halls. We also paid for an upgraded room which ended up being across from an ice machine that was very loud and interrupted our sleep. Overall, there are much nicer hotels in the area that are much more hospitable to their guests. I will not be returning.

Overall amazing experience.

Chicago house is a nice hotel located in excellent location. The rooftop deck was definitely a tourist destination and, like other hotels we’ve stayed in that are tourist destinations, was packed the gills all the time. The difference here was that I would say preference for hotel guests was not made really apparent. so, one of the reasons that we stayed in the hotel was for the rooftop deck and we ended up avoiding it totally because of that.
-
Check in was poor. We didn’t get a notification that the room was ready. When we approached reception they were slow and gave us the wrong room keys. There was a daily ‘destination’ fee for each room which was poorly explained. The hotel would not allocate the correct credits over both rooms. The bill was a nightmare to understand. Overall we would not stay there again and the reception staff are less than helpful.
-
The entire property and all staff exceeded my expectations!
-
The room was great. Nicest room I've had. Comfortable with lots of little perks. The view was wonderful. Bellhops were also wonderful.
-
Excellent stay! Very convenient location.

The staff was super helpful and efficient
