The room was clean and had nice linen although we didn’t love the pillows. Our room faced a wall. Although there could have been a tiny view of a car park the window was frosted out. There didn’t seem to be many people in the hotel at all so the decision to put us in a room with no view when there were obviously a lot of rooms that did have views (you could see them from the outside) was puzzling. We wouldn’t stay there again based on this. The price of the room was not insignificant so again, to be put in a room that had a view of a wall was very disappointing. In addition, we asked to check in at 2pm however this could be confirmed until check in which really seems to indicate lack of processes and unwillingness to make an effort for guests.

Was not made aware breakfast was even an option NOISY EXTREMELY NOISY Motorized vibrating noise all night from machinery 7 am doors slamming all the way through for a few hours especially housekeeping shouting at each other all morning and banging trolleys constantly, mouldy shower curtain over bath/ shower combo that I cleaned before even touching the bathroom, garbage left in bin, unfriendly reception staff came back four times to try and check in parked seven blocks away after trying to ask about parking

This hotel is very centrally located across from the cathedral under construction. It is a first class hotel with a good restaurant and clean rooms. My son and I enjoyed our stay. We had a car and used the valet service which was extremely responsive. I would not hesitate to stay here again. This is a very good hotel. I have no complaints
