Motel 6 Chula Vista, CA - San Diego

I spent a half hour trying to turn in the AC. The room was dirty and it smelt like urine on the way to my room.

The walls were paper thin and the neighbors partied all night, lots of trash around, no towels, no soap, the sink didn’t work.

Won't clean the room unless you ask for it. Every day you have to ask for clean towels. Room phone was missing, constantly had to stop by the office to ask for towels

My room did not have any towels when I arrived, and the door did not seal very well, which made the room feel less secure and comfortable than I would have liked. The staff was pleasant, but the room itself could definitely use some improvement. Overall, it may work if you’re simply looking for an inexpensive place to stay for the night, but I would keep your expectations realistic.

Although front desk was really nice and got me in and out quickly, enough parking to move around, room was.. well it was definitely a room, sheets stained, water pressure sucked really low and either burning hot or freezing cold in the shower, sink water burst out on us when we tried to use it, it was actually pretty funny, complete opposite of shower pressure and room heating did not work at all, I tend to get cold real easily and I was freezzingg, ac worked fine though on cold that is. 2/5, would use as a quick 1 night but would not exceed to 2 nights in a row, maybe it was just our room, who knows, but I didn’t think complaining would fix much since it was just one night stay.

The staff were very helpful when I asked to extend my stay.
