The location was good. We could walk to most everything. Actually the hotel did not live up to the hyatt mark. Wasn't close to the hyatts I've stayed at before. It was old looking and the floor and carpet coming up. Would not stay there again. Much nicer places with same location. Frankly, I wouldn't go back to clearwater. Many more coastal places prettier and clearwater is strictly a tourist trap.

One of our favorite features was the pool on the 8th floor, which has a spectacular view. It was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. We would love to come back!

I arrived 10 minutes before 4 pm and they said they didn't have my room ready, they offered to give me another room by adding $50 more the night they didn't accept calling me when my room was ready, it was 4:30 without any notification I went to ask and they gave me the same room they offered that was ready before 4 pm which was the time of entry I don't think they made me wait half 40 minutes to give me a room that was ready on time, it was that it was.

Our safe and remote control both needed new batteries but maintenance corrected it immediately. The lobby was bright, clean and spacious. The second floor was also clean, smelled nice and had a great mini market and beach access. The restaurant is on the pricier side but the breakfast was outstanding. The 8th floor pool with grill and bar was a life saver and my favorite amenity. Easy to get in and out of the sun and enjoy food or drinks with minimal effort. Central to beach short walk to Crabbys restaurant and a very useful Surf Style shop with food, beer/wine and souvenirs, clothes, beach wear, etc. We stayed for a quick 3 nights and were really satisfied with our choice.

Since it’s off-season, the rates were great! It’s an old hotel that has that cool old & grand design & staircase, It’s been updated with modern, clean, and elegant design choices. The rooms are huge with tons of rooms with beautiful views! The breakfast room is also beautiful with great Gulf views and a fantastic breakfast buffet for only $26! Also, staff was so friendly and even called cuzzI left my toiletries bag in the parking garage and “Nick” actually went out to the garage and grabbed it for me and setup for a shipping return within 30 minutes. All around fabulous stay with nothing negative.

Location, cleaning service Check in was a mess, had to switch rooms second day because I booked two rooms together- sent booking notification they needed to be conjoined or close and then called the property as well. They didn’t even know I booked two rooms and had them at first completely on other sides of the hotel towers. Bed very uncomfortable- pool deck very messy

Excellent location!!! Clean and well taken care of resort. Staff was super friendly and helpful My only complaint would be there were only 2 elevators for each side of the resort so you did have to wait a bit at times although this wasn't a huge deal I could see it being more of a nuisance during really peak season.
