Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Suites

Excellent trip! It was our third time staying here and it’s very clean and great for families. Awesome views too!

Bathroom sink was clogged, not a lot do around the area…

The only negative I would mention was that beach chair and umbrellas were said to be provided but they were with an addition fee and while Hyatt got you a discount of $20 per day, it was only one per room. We had 4 people so it was two umbrellas and 4 chars which was $62.50 per day. Should have been stated in the listing so the actual cost was apparent. Still a fabulous stay and a wonderful place to stay. They let us check in a few hours early which was a huge bonus. I would absolutely stay there again!

1st time visit and loved staying here! The staff was all very welcoming especially Christopher! He was very helpful! Loved how big the room was but the pool was on the smaller side. Will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect place

Outstanding resort perfect for traveling with active adolescents. Spacious, clean, well-appointed. Breakfast add-on well worth it. Deep balcony with ample shade overlooking prime section of the beach. Staff were very attentive and professional.

Very nice room. Kitchenette is a new must for us. Had toaster, pans, dishes etc. very nice staff and central to all key areas. Really didn’t need a car and only used Uber for the aquarium and airport.

I love that it was in walking distance of everything close by The pool area is too small for this size facility need another pool area OVER GROWDED

The views was amazing, is not a hotel for couples, is very family oriented. Lots of kids. And also the pool is very small. Didn’t like the pool.

Superb

Whilst visiting the US we’ve received really wonderful hospitality everywhere we’ve been, but this was exceeded by the staff at the Hyatt, who couldn’t have been more accommodating. Chris and Jamie were both excellent and helped make our stay go perfectly. Obviously the location is amazing as well.

My go to spot

The property was very clean, and conveniently located. I loved that a discount was given for chairs and umbrella on beach. That is not the case at other hotels. My only complaint is that the pool is too small for the size of the resort, and lack of shade. Rules were not enforced, as unsupervised kids took over the pool area. Kids should not be in pool unsupervised period. My daughter (adult) left belongings at pool (shoes, water bottle, clothing), and nothing was turned into lost and found. Her fault, but bizarre that items weren’t turned in. Overall, I liked the resort because of cleanliness and location. A few minor issues with pool area.

What happened next is why I’m taking the time to leave this review. Two managers personally reached out to me, sincerely apologized for the inconvenience, and went far above and beyond to make things right. Not only did they provide the items I had originally ordered, but they added extra touches and fully refunded the charge as well. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but the way a business responds says everything. The kindness, professionalism, and genuine care shown by the hotel team turned a disappointing situation into one of the highlights of our stay. Thank you for making us feel valued as guests. We would gladly stay here again.
