Everything was excellent. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and were always ready to help with anything we needed. The property was well maintained, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made our stay very enjoyable. The only minor disappointment was the hot chocolate served at the restaurant. It tasted quite bland and wasn't what we expected. Apart from that, everything else was wonderful, and we had a great experience.

Believe me when I tell you the photos of Eighth Bastion Fort Kochi do not show how beautiful and well maintained this property is. My favorite things about this property are the pool, the restaurant, and the free Tuk-Tuk tour. The chefs here are the best cooks. Best food in all India. The people who work here are outstanding, each person from the front desk, cleaners, chef and restaurant workers, and the doorman are wonderful and helpful. There is a beach in walking distance. We wish we would have stayed longer.

Great location at Fort Kochi. A very short walk to the beach to catch sunset. Lots of food options within walking distance. Breakfast is good, staff friendly and the complimentary 2 hour Tuk Tuk tour is a fantastic bargain thrown in by the hotel. The layout of the room takes a little getting used to. It will be better if there is a stopper to hold the door to the bedroom open.

The staff made our stay so nice. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and attentive. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast was great and had many options. As two female travelers we felt safe and cared for. They also arranged an insanely early check in for us, we got there at 6AM from the airport. Plus a free two hour tuktuk tour. We unknowingly booked our trip during Onam, Kerala’s main annual celebration. Flower art, games, everyone was smiling. Incredible!

We had a wonderful stay at this excellent property. The staff were exceptionally friendly and polite, with special thanks to Mr. Akhil. The complimentary tuk-tuk ride was a delightful and fun experience. The property is slightly aged, and the metal window frames show some signs of wear and tear.
