Clean, friendly and perfect location to enjoy Fort Cochi. Beautiful old house converted into a comfortable homestay with high ceilings, air conditioning, and a delicious Karala breakfast. We would recommend and if we are ever back in town we would come back to stay again.

A wonderful old colonial property well located in Fort Kochi. The breakfast was fantastic and served in a beautifully ornate lounge/dining room. Rooms were comfortable and fully fit for purpose if a little dated. Staff incredibly helpful and couldn’t do too much to help arrange transport of provide advice……I would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful guesthouse in the perfect location in Fort Cochin. The hosts are very nice and our room was large and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the Kerala breakfast every morning.

It was very quiet with beautiful wood floors. They made you feel very welcome and helped us plan our visit.

This beautiful period property had a great location just a short walk to many of the tourist attractions of Fort Cochin. The room we had was spacious and quiet, overlooking the open courtyard area, with easy access to one of the common room areas. Breakfast was tasty, European and Keralan options, and plenty to start a busy day sightseeing. The owner was was extremely friendly and helpful, including booking our Kathakali tickets for us, and arranging a taxi transfer out to airport. Easy to leave our luggage for the day when we checked out too before our flight. Even if you don't stay in the historic part of the building, definitely take the time to go and explore it, as has a fascinating history. No complaints

A wonderful experience at a Heritage Home Stay at Fort Kochi.. One of the oldest homestay's in the area and has a heritage section and a modern section. The accessibility to all areas of Fort area is wonderful and you can literally walk everywhere. The hosts are wonderful people and explain to the guests the history of the town. You can also get confirmed tickets of the Kathakali Centre and witness beautiful performances. The food is simple but very well prep and as a homestay should be. The staff we lovely. The rooms were spacious and clean. The fans and AC all worked well. The building itself is beautiful and well kept. We had a perfect stay.

We stayed two nights at Chiramel Residency which explains our middle ground ratings. The second night /room deserve top ratings. We had reserved two nights in deluxe double room. The second night upstairs in the heritage part was beautiful and very stylish. The first night, we were downstairs in a non-classy room (compared to upstairs) next to the street (we had the feeling, we were sleeping in the street). The breakfast in the heritage salon was great. We liked our smiling door man who welcomed us - mornings and evenings Thank you for the post-discount for the first night. Room downstairs next to the street / directly at entrance

We raised an issue with an electrical outlet and a maintenance man was called over within 15 minutes. I would certainly stay here again and recommend Chiramel Residency to my friends. the downstairs rooms are dark and a little noisy. I would opt for an upper room next time.

Towels. Get better quality proper bath towels.

A very warm welcome, and able to check in ahead of time which was a real bonus! We booked Kathakali through them which was a great evening! Early checkout and taxi booking was also very helpful! The place itself is very central in Fort Kochi and kept very calm and tidy. The air conditioning is perhaps a bit old and noisy, but the owner was looking into the noise during our stay.
