Only plus was the good free breakfast.Only plus is that I was by myself for 2 nights The AC was good but was it's confusing to figure out which switch turns it on. Oh and no individual lights by the beds. Location was fine but I would prefer to be a bit further south close to other place. Don't stay here. If I had seen the room before checking in, I would have gone elsewhere. The hostel is unkempt and dirty. Seems to just be a place where the staff and their friends hang out. They didn’t get me a receipt on payment and then questioned a few days later whether I had paid. They don't take credit cards which seems to be a thing in Kochi but very annoying at a hotel/hostel. My bed was made up with just a blanket. No sheet or anything. Other beds had the same issue (either a sheet or a blanket, not both). The AC was good but was it's confusing to figure out which switch turns it on. Oh and no individual lights by the beds. The shower barely worked. After I mentioned the issue, they shut off the shower completely. The sink was kinda dirty and no hot water. Location was fine but I would prefer to be a bit further south close to other place.

Everything!! This place was such a vibe!! They hostel is clean and well kept, maggy in the cafe is such a sweetheart and the food is lovely. The location is great, close to the beach, jetty and water metro. Naijeen was amazing, I broke my tablet and had deadlines and needed to get my data off of my tablet and he helped me do that. Everyone is so kind and sweet, it feels more like a family than a hostel. And the grounds are stunning, very chill vibe. And Onam celebrations were so good! I barely left the hostel to see stuff in town. One of my favorite hostels ? Actually nothing

Location The facilities are poor. The ac in dormitory needed to be repaired. They gave me two option: stay in dormitory with the ac that doesnt work( the weather was too hot with high humidity) or pay more and stay in private room which the ac works well. I had to choose the second.
