The 500 year old historic property is a luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Fort Cochin, across the street from Saint Francis Church. It is a minute walk to the Chinese fishing nets. Location History of property. Was informed I was unable to get a room upgrade as I booked through booking.com. Offered to pay extra but was informed it was not possible. Room was very small for the amount of money paid. Apparently no other larger rooms were available despite only seeing only one other guest during the entire stay( apart from my friends who were in a larger suite). Manager was not helpful at all when I voiced my concerns. Was offered complimentary dinner but I was unable to eat most of the food provided secondary to illness. Kettle not automatically provided in room, had to make multiple phone calls to request( despite informing I had been unwell and preferred to boil water myself). Rest of staff were pleasant and helpful however.

unfortunately we had an early flight so didn't have breakfast . The property is beautiful through out a wonderful colonial house in superb condition.It is spotless the staff are lovely the pool area and pool are beautiful . a longer stay

beautifully decorated property with a nice layout A lot of mosquitoes in the room when we arrived. I would have liked the room to have been fumigated and sealed before arrival.

It's pretty and clean The service is not great. Usually can't see anyone. Lights and fans in the common areas always off. Have to go looking for people constantly. Feels like ghost town with nobody around.

small intimate and very beautiful. i stayed for 4 days and I realised on the third day that the floor mats were not replaced or left to dry. for the facilities I think it’s quite pricy, other 5 star hotels nearby were at the same price and has many other facilities.
