Nice friendly staff, very helpful with restaurants, travel etc. Very good continental breakfast, with coffee, hot chocolate etc Nice comfortable bed, reasonable size room for central location. Location is excellent for train station, cathedral and other sights

Super close to city center, winter markets and train station Toilet was not in the best shape, didn't flush normally, this is a place only to come sleep, cant really come and chill, since no table to sit near and eat or do stuff

Location, Breakfast Rooms are very tiny. Bed is shoved against a wall making it hard to get up.

The location was excellent. Just around the corner of the station and Dom /Christmas market. The bathroom was nice. We didn't know we were in a separate building with no lift. Room was at 2nd floor. Hard work to get up and down with heavy suitcases. The pillow (1 each) was too flat and a bit lumpy. Lots of wall patches needed paint top up. Reception staff was friendly and helpful.

Very good European-styled breakfast. It was absolutely perfect for my needs. I had a small room, but I found the room to be very, very comfortable. And very quiet. The desk in the room had the right about of depth, too (with no obstructions underneath). I selected this place because of its location, and from a traveler-logistics standpoint, the location is fantastic. Had great interactions with all of the staff. I'll be back to Cologne again next year, and I'm expecting be checking in here. Can't think of anything negative.

Location was convenient to Cathedral and train station. Staff was helpful and friendly, and let us store luggage. Surprisingly nice breakfast buffet , which exceeded my modest expectations. The hotel reception and the guest rooms have two separate entrances, and the street in between those two doorways is neither clean nor welcoming, and had unhoused people camped out on the sidewalk. While this is not a problem with the hotel per se, this could make some guests feel uneasy.

This did not bother us, but the church bells are loud. The walls are really thin and we could hear the room next door. Fyi: no elevator.

The location I didn’t think It looked like the pictures shown online, shower water was cold, and I think there might have been bed bugs because as soon as I got into bed at night within 10/15 minutes I had several bug bites on my legs
