The staff was very friendly and helpful , and you can't get a better location for a quick business trip by train

Price and room sizes

We had a very early train to catch (6:25 AM), and we basically rolled out of bed and made our way to the train platform. Couldn't have been more convenient. And the view of Cologne Cathedral directly from our room was wonderful, too.

Location is superb. The views are great. Breakfast was decent and clean. Still it is a hotel at the train station - a bit overused

The elevator only goes to the 3rd floor and you have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the 4th floor. I am 68 years old and they gave me a room on the 4th floor! Unless the hotel was completely full which I doubt, there was no reason to have an old lady walk up stairs with a suitcase! Not smart :(

Location is the most important thing. Connected to Mai. Station. Just in front of the Cathedral

Everything was good has the pictures

Nothing. There was no one on the night desk for my nighttime check-in, so I wasn’t able to access the hotel or property. No one answered the phone. I could see the reception desk from the doors, and rang the doorbell consistently along with another guest. I was forced to leave and find another accommodation down the street. I didn’t like that they didn’t have anybody on the night desk. No one answered the phone or doorbell. Myself and another guest were forced to find other accommodations last minute.

Perfect location: they even have a back door inside the passage of Köln Hbf that you can use room card to open. Right facing the Cathedral, only thing is you hear the Cathedral bells ringing from very early morning. Staff are friendly and courteous. n/a

The location is excellent and you don’t hear any noise even though it’s in the train station. Nice view - you could see the cathedral from our room’s window. The luggage storage room is quite small and the staff said you can only leave your luggage if there is space. So depending on the hotel’s capacity it might not be an option

Location was perfect near the cathedral and Christmas markets, and so convenient next to the train station. Nothing.

Location is amazing! If you're looking for an affordable, clean place to stay for one or two nights, this is the place as it's right at the train station and a few feet from the cathedral. Everything else is within close walking distance as well. Would have preferred more than 1 pillow per person, but that's a simple request. The outside noise can be a little loud at times during the night, so just make sure you're prepared if you are a light sleeper.

Great location..

Location is literally inside the train station and in front of the am dom which is so good. We did not need to use public transportation. Sound proof is so good you dont hear any voices inside the room. Rooms are a bit small, no safe, coffee machine and no towel for hair.
