Brilliant location, staff were welcoming and helpful. The bar/restaurant was what I would imagine a traditional German pub. Great atmosphere and the food was nice. Hotel room and view was lovely.Lots of breakfast choices too. No lift. Bathroom was a bit small

Nice breakfast choices and breakfast drink choices. The room was tiny but clean. The bed was also rather small but alright. My room didn't have a view on anything, just on the building next door. Also, there was no elevator and i had to carry my luggage by myself until the last floor.

Very comfortable single room. I liked the traditional decor as it made it a unique place to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included and was very good. Nothing.

Really good location and lovely breakfast with a view. The restaurant portion of the building has a lot of character. No lift, stairs only, which could be a problem for some.

Amazing location on the banks of the Rhine and easy reach of the station. The ambience was very much 'old worldy Teutonic' with a great feel about it. Food was great (breakfast included!) and the staff were super.

Super freundliches Personal, süßes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Rhein & das Frühstück war sehr lecker! Hatte nichts auszusetzen.

An old-fashioned hotel above a bar/restaurant right on the river. I checked in with the restaurant staff and was sent up the back stairs to the rooms above. While the room was small and the loo/shower was cramped and across the hall, I loved its charm, and the location was right in the centre of things, by the riverside (though my room was at the back, so quiet). Breakfast was great, a generous buffet with outside seating. A lot of stairs to climb which might not suit some. Electrics and decor a little aged. To me that was part of staying in a "proper" old fashioned hotel.

Everything was good , the location, the hotel room , and the staff . The ones on the desk were kind and helpful and the staff of the restaurant all was welcoming and hospitable . They were always there for making your stay more valuable. Special thanks to Aysel and Cem ,it was a privilege to meet them there. Nothing

Location is brilliant in the Altstadt overlooking the river. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has an exceptional restaurant serving traditional German fare. N/A

The location is superb and we were lucky to have a big room overlooking the Rhine The air-conditioning, even with several days of 38°C, was excellent in the room. Good value food but overly salty for our taste (perhaps a German thing?). The outdoor terrace is really nice. No facilities at all for storing bicycles, though it's right on several European and German National cycle routes along the Rhine. We had to take them to the main railway station which was a nuisance.
