The location was good The staff were not helpful or friendly, there was no staff in the hotel throughout the night so guests would be on their own in an emergency such as a fire. The daily rate for the room of $400 Euros was too high considering there was not even a coffee or tea maker in the room. I would never stay there again

beautiful historical building in very nice quiet area. especially in spring season there are awesome flowers in front of the hotel.

Unique design and artfilled amizing architecture, high level art everywhere. The shower hotwater was too hot and I could not adjust

Beautiful apartment, very nicely located, up-to-date amenities in the heart of Cologne. During my three nights' stay, I didn't receive any cleaning whatsoever, no fresh towels whatsoever, and was very disappointed that, when I checked out, I still had to pay for it. They promised me to reach out to me and find a resolution, which they haven't, which is very, very disappointing.

I found it slightly maddening that you can’t reserve a parking space in advance. The hotel does have parking – they’re just oddly committed to keeping it a walk-in lottery. You show up and hope for the best. I’m sure there’s a solidly German principle behind it – fairness, Ordnung, or a deep-seated distrust of privilege – but in practice, it’s just kind of annoying.

The hotel is in a historic building, about a 10-15 minute walk from the Cathedral. We stayed there based on recommendations. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the "medium" room I stayed in was quite basic. The lobby and common areas looked stylish, but the room was very simple. There were no toiletries like toothpaste or a toothbrush, and the room slippers were very thin, almost like paper. I was also surprised that there was no complimentary water in the room. Cologne was very cold in February, and the heating in the room was not enough for me—I felt cold. The bathroom looked nice, but it was not very practical because water collected on the floor. Overall, it is a good hotel, but for the price, it did not fully meet my expectations.

Location was excellent. Hotel is spotless..Food in La Fonda restaurant is expensive but excellent. The rooms are most certainly NOT soundproof despite being advertised as such. Two single duvets on a double bed. Bar not staffed on a regular basis.

Really great location and lovely property. The concept is super and the rooms comfortable. My room was small and basic for the rice paid but I did like it.

Fantastic location with beautifully furnished rooms.
-
Large rooms with lots of space. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Location fairly isolated from stores, although walk to city center was only 10-15 minutes.

Great breakfast, good place for coffee lovers:)

The location was incredible. It is situated on a beautiful quiet square. There were no curtains in our room so when it started getting light you were awake. There is not a door on the bathroom so when you put the light on you basically wake up the other person. I think these would not have bothered me so much but as we were there in the high season and paid over 300 euros I expected more.
