The property had a few things going on upgrading paint and other things in the facilities. Location was perfect from major high ways. The breakfast and cleaning crew made sure to check if everything is alright.

It’s in a questionable area of town, which I know can’t be helped but worth noting. The lobby was HOT, hotter than outside so breakfast was miserable and they don’t have enough places to sit to eat for the size of the hotel. Lots of wasted space. The carpets in the lobby near the seating areas were stained and kind of gross looking. ( I have young children so I notice the things they’re touching) The room was sparse without amenities. Just the standard hand soap and shampoo pack. There was NOT an addition safety lock on the door, which was a huge turn off but it was so late we didn’t have the energy to change hotels. It’s probably the worst one within this chain that I’ve stayed at. Hopefully it gets fixed up to the same level of price they’re charging people. They also do a $100 hold for incidentals, which is typically $25 per hotel.

We had an excellent overnight stay before hiking pikes peak. Staff was incredibly kind. Morning breakfast and coffee was nice.

This Hotel was one of the best we've ever stayed in, and we've been in many, in both US and abroad! The staff was very kind and friendly, the room was just about perfect (see dislike) and the location so easy! Easy to find, easy to get to all major attractions in/around Colorado & Manitou Springs! We loved coming back to our room each night after exploring the area! The daily breakfast was awesome, and the girls were right there making sure food was plentiful, hot, and tabkes clean. The sausage gravy & biscuits were terrific and the cinnamon rolls were sooooooo good! The pool was fantastic, nice and clean, and a nice little fitness room was nearby. The treadmills even had tv's to help you get through your workout. AND we even got to meet the owner, a very nice, down to earth, blue jeans guy who was so super nice!! We would stay again, 100%!! There were no USB or C charging ports on the lamps or anywhere else, and the plug in outlets on the lamps did not work. Therefore, you were charging your electronics in a wall outlet, nowhere near the end tables. A minor inconvenience.

Breakfast was great, the carpet in our room was filthy. My toddlers feet were black after walking bare foot. Staff was friendly and beds were comfy
