Comfort Inn Columbus near Fort Benning

Room for as dirty (bought disinfectant wipes to clean). Towel bar falling off wall, bedding was dirty (did ask for it to be changed and it was better), brown sludge running down wall in hall way, hot water took 15 min to make it to our room, carpeting in hallway was filthy. Called Hotels.com to try to get out of the room and/or change my reservation to just 1 night so I could find another hotel, but was denied due to the fact that the hotel front desk would not answer the phone. Would never book this hotel again.

The customer service experience alone was amazing. The lafy at the front desk answer all questions and concerns without any issues and in a timely manner.

Clean but pool wasn’t ready and we was looking forward to it

First id like to start out by saying the check in attendant on their night shift was about as unpersonable as someone can get before they are considered downright rude. He sure knew how to ride that line pretty good but we flew in late and had a late check in so i let it slide. Secondly, don't plan to utilize one of their "free cribs". They only have 1 on the property and even if you call ahead of time to verify its reserved with your reservation you won't get one. Thirdly, our room was so humid and full of mold it literally made our blankets and all of our clothes wet. To top it all off breakfast was so awful the first day that we found an Aldis and bought breakfast for the remainder of our stay because there was no way we were eating there a second time. The blueberry waffle mix was literally separated and smelled like it had soured. The original waffle mix was our and when we told the breakfast attendant she pulled the batter container out of the machine and proceeded to pour the remaining rancid batter in my cup expecting me to use it. The ONLY positive I have to say is that when we woke up the next day and requested a new room because if was light enough outside to see all the mold, the lady at the front desk was helpful and very kind and took it seriously and moved us rooms. If we hadn't booked through a third party, and already paid, I would have high tailed it out of there on night one. Never ever again!

The hotel was not as described, the air in our room did not work well its like they have it set on a timer so we were hot over night then it kicked on/off in the day time starting at 6am they had no maintenance staff on sight to check the air,we.were told he was coming in at 11pm the floors are buckling from water damage,our other room had water leaking on the floor supposedly from water condensation from the a/c unit,the breakfast was not as you would expect just basic.. the pool area had a big hole in the window from outside didnt look safe at all,basic amenities like they just bougnt from the dollar store there were skeptical guesses at the hotel didn't really feel safe.

The location was good in proximity to Fort Benning. The housekeeper provided plenty of extra towels when asked. The hotel was quiet at night. The hotel was sparse. The staff seemed indifferent. The room, 302, was minimally clean. We had a double bed and the top spread on my bed was dirty with what appeared to be makeup smudges. The window curtains in the room could not be let up or opened during day hours. The room may have been an accessible one, however the closeness of the room door and the bathroom door would make it very difficult for a wheelchair user to maneuver it. The inside of the bathroom door did not have a handle as on the outside of it which was awkward for use, for example if you closed yourself in the bathroom fully. The breakfast area was not inviting so we skipped it. There was a hole in the glass window in the indoor swimming pool area. For the price, overall it was a disappointment and we would not stay at this facility in the future.

Convenient to shopping, offered breakfast. Clean. The pool was closed. When showering the water ran all over the bathroom floor.

Room was dirty with what seems to be toenails and cereal on the floors. Smell in the hallways was musty and really off putting in the morning when they were making what I assumed was breakfast. 3 days not just one soap left in the room for 3 adults and a child. Not that big of a deal but definitely not up to par!

There's nothing I didn't like the only problem was the ice maker didn't work on the second floor of the third floor he had to go down to the first floor to get ice

Everything was clean and nice

Did not have breakfast Room was assigned to another guy who came into the room very unexpectedly. Ac leaked water..Hotel charged me for two rooms. My overnight stay was a disaster.

The room I stayed in was very well-put and clean. And I really enjoyed the kind staff who worked there

The room was nice, A/C worked good, needs are comfortable. I guess that is the important part. Unfortunately, our soldier graduated and wanted to relax in a pool, so we chose this motel, but the pill was closed the entire time for maintenance. It's the end of May and very hot out, you would think they would maintenance earlier in the year or at the very least state the the pool is closed. They had drink machines that were out of everything and didn't even have water as an option anyway, just soda. The machine took my money and then I found out the machine was empty, but never got my money back. I told the front desk and they said they would look into it but it never got refilled during my stay nor did I get my money back. These things are also important to guests, so for these reasons I personality won't stay at this location when I come back.
