The hotel was cute and hospitable in an excellent location at 10 to 20 minutes walk from main sites we wanted to visit. There are lost of restaurants nearby. They hosted a drink of wine every evening from 5 to 6 which was a lovely start to the evening and an opportunity to meet other travelers if you wanted to. The room was spacious and the lobby had some fun sitting areas as all the furnishings are in an authentic mid century modern Danish design style. The staff were very friendly. There is an cute patio in the back. The overall ambiance/vibe of the hotel is warm and personal. The lighting in the bathroom could have been a bit brighter but it was not a big deal.

While the on-site team was great, their authority to fix problems seems quite limited,a common issue across many hotels these days (lack of empowerment - due to owner's obsessive cost concerns). Internal communication among the different shifts seems less than ideal as well; despite messages being left for the next shift, issues just don't get resolved. 1. Room Request: My request for a quiet was noted and acknowledged in the bkg.com reply (I understand that "acknowledgement" is not a "confirmation"), yet upon arrival, I was given a room facing the main street. I managed to change to a room overlooking a side street, thanks to the kind assistance of the helpful receptionist. In-Room Safe: The safe was locked upon arrival and couldn't be fixed during my entire stay, despite daily reminders and acknowledgements. (Breakfast was offered as compensation on the final day). Amenities: The soap and shower gel dispenser pumps don't work properly, making the extraction of soap quite a challenging process. Maintenance: Very slow drainage in the washbasin, which didn't get fixed during the stay either. Lack of Fridge: The rooms do not feature a minibar or fridge. To be clear, nobody is asking for a fully stocked minibar, just a small fridge for one's own snacks and bites. At the price this hotel is charging, this should be standard. Bathroom: The loose toilet seat was another issue that went unfixed during my stay.

Great location! Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Delicious breakfast. A bit pricey.

Shower was a smidge small but not a show stopper by any means.

Five minute walk from Central train station so great for a short stay. Wonderful Danish modern decor. Friendly, helpful staff. Attached restaurant served fabulous breakfast. Best coffee we had, and that’s saying a lot. Comfy bed. The AC barely worked and Copenhagen was having a heat wave. Fix that and it would rate a 10.

The hotel was conveniently located to the areas of Copenhagen that we wanted to visit. Staff was exceptional. Friendly and helpful with suggestions for eating, coffee etc The ac was sub par. We ended up leaving the window open which created a lovely breeze but the noise from the street was very loud - if I were to visit again (and I would) I would request a room that was not street side

Excellent location, right in the center of the city and close to all the major attractions.

Staff over there are very nice and responsive. The location is quite good. Our first night got off to a rough start. The bathroom in our original room had a very strong, unpleasant smell that made it difficult to stay in. To their credit, the front desk staff responded promptly and arranged an upgrade to a larger room. Sadly, the upgraded room came with its own problem — the air conditioning was not working effectively, and the room became uncomfortably hot. We returned to the front desk for assistance and were provided with a portable fan, which unfortunately did little to improve the situation, and we had a very uncomfortable night. We hope the hotel will take note of these maintenance issues, as the staff's responsiveness deserves better support from the facilities themselves.

We arrived and there was no room for us even though we had a reservation. The Hotel Alexander sent us to another hotel that was 15 minutes away. They promised to send a taxi to take us to the station on the day we were scheduled to leave, but no taxi arrived. We had to ask about it, and then they finally called the taxi.

Great breakfast ,

Good location, clean rooms and wonderful staff. Nice breakfast, but pricey. The air conditioning simply doesn’t work. It was hot all week and the air conditioning just didn’t function. Opening windows was not an option due to street noise; hotel is located on a major thoroughfare.

Some noise from the concert backyard next door. But didn´t bother us.
-
All facilities inside hotel. Low water pressure in the shower.
-
I line that it was so Danish. It was like bring in the museum of design. I loved the bar and restroom right next-door. Nothing

Convenient to sites The breakfast was too expensive and wasn’t very good.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The beds were not the most comfortable.

Clean and comfortable. Good location. Front desk above and beyond. A little noisy. Parking nearby (unaffiliated), but very pricy. Rooms in need of some minor maintenance, but nothing major.

The location was great, the restaurant was superb and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was fine but the rug was dirty, the shower cord was to short and would not rise, the soap dispensers didn’t pump and the sink was too small to shave in without getting water on the floor. The window shades wouldn’t close all the way for two buttons kept it open on the rod.

The design of the hotel rooms!! Even the hallways had quotes from famous designers. Loved it so much! The toilet seat in my room’s bathroom was broken.
