Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center

The cleanest hotel room i have ever stayed.

Would have loved to stay a few days and explore more. We stopped overnight during a roadtrip for a great price on Expedia with a river view room. Very clean hotel and rooms. The only exception was the shower curtain was not up to par for Hyatt Hotels. I forgot to take a photo but it was clearly used a lot and not cleaned thoroughly with a few red mildew spots on it. The gym was excellent, equipped Peloton of course! Be I enjoyed using the machines. Very clean, spacious, and organized gym! All in all we loved it and added it to our list of spots during our annual road trip!

No complementary water on the entire floor that we stayed on. Ice machine barely worked shot out water. Vending machine was completely broken. Went downstairs and night manager didn’t know today from yesterday and couldn’t help with any of the issues I had. Sink was overflowing with water because it would not drain properly. Horrible visit.

Super clean hotel,comfortable bed and great location near food. I accidentally left my toiletries bag at the hotel and the staff found it for me and held it until my return 3 days later. Great customer service.

Great location. Short drive to downtown Iowa City. Short drive to the interstate. Nice immediate surrounding area of restaurants and businesses within walking distance. (including Outstanding Ramen restaurant nearby). Beautiful riverwalk nature on the premises. Parking cost $10. It’s a nice lot. Would be great if that was complimentary.

The hotel was fine. The staff was not very welcoming and not very interested in checking me in. They didn't explain parking, internet or breakfast options at all. Just ID, swipe card and give room key. A little customer service goes along ways.

I also appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and softness of the towels. Unfortunately the mattress was very uncomfortable - seemed old and saggy. In the conference area, many of the drapes were torn and one was held together with safety pins. The chairs were also worn. Overall positive experience due to the employees

Guest should not have to pay for parking. This is a nice hotel and it is expensive, having to pay for parking is an insult.

Very clean, and staff was nice The fridge in the room takes to long to cool down, and I had to buy drinks because of this.

There is a really pretty educational trail behind the building. The parking garage is 10.00 addditional. Who cares. Your car is covered, close and safe.

This is a very nice hotel and reasonably priced. I was impressed by the surroundings and the hotel itself. So many staff said hello and were very helpful! Highly recommend!!

Clean and updated. Our king room had a chaise lounge if we ever needed our young daughter to stay with us as well. Paying for parking

The property is absolutely beautiful! The rooms are nice. The staff there are so nice! Minna, who works the front desk, is amazing and unforgettable! She’s beautiful, helpful, courteous, but also hilarious! I enjoy the Iowa library and the artwork throughout. My only MINOR complaint is the poor lighting in the bathrooms (would be okay if even a smaller lighted mirror was available for makeup application). Not complaints but ideas for the venue- consider extending the pool area to allow for an outdoor pool/hot tub/tanning area. Would have been cool if there was an event there- live music or dj to see given I don’t believe anything was booked on the event rooms…
