loved the pool area and breakfast
-
Maintained, pool was big and clean. Hot tub was not hot but that’s ok. It was almost 90 degrees outside when we visited. My room was dark, older and needed a rehab but the AC worked great!! Breakfast was good, well stocked, plenty of seating. My sisters room was refurbished, well lit and nice. The hotel is right next to a Safeway which was awesome with the large group we travelled with. You can walk nice neighborhoods behind the hotel. There a nice smaller shopping center with boutiques and name brand stores to wander. Overall great location to freeway and access anything in the Bay Area.

However, you cannot hear your neighbors through the walls, which was great. But you can really hear outside noise.

Excellent location, good value the hotel needs refreshing but I was informed it will be demolished end 2026 to build care homes

Nice pool room was spacious Clean Comfortable beds Outdated, noise from the freeway The kitchenette was just a fridge, coffee maker and a microwave, no way to actually cook anything. No utensils or dishes Hot tub was cold Old TV with basic cable

Property may show signs of age and all and needs a tad of modernization but the rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and we used the exercise room and breakfast services while staying. Breakfast had plenty of options for us buffet style. Exercise room had enough to get a good enough work out while we were staying. We will stay again.

Pleased with hotel. Rooms clear, some elements but run down and could do with an upgrade but standard for what we have seen across our road trip. Breakfast was the same every day, but good selection. Pool was lovely, and staff was nice. Would recommend and stay again if in the area.

Incredibly unexpectedly excellent. Like being at a resort. Cudos to the owners for keeping the 1950s layout - gigantic well maintained pool with 10’ deep end, a putting green for kids, a basketball hoop with balls, lawns, well kept rooms with great linens, excellent staff and as lavish a free breakfast as you can imagine. At moments we felt like we were at a Waikiki resort at a fraction of price in the middle of Marin next to a freeway no less. Recommend quieter rooms if available. Ideas for mgmt: compostable cups instead of the plastic ones at bfast and re-shingling the tiles on breakfast Pavillion. We loved our overnight with 6 year old. A true gem.

Over the night, the air conditioning unit from the unit directly above us began leaking into our unit. The constant dripping sound woke me up in the middle of the night and has not stopped. I reported to the staff so hopefully it is fixed by now. It is good to have hot tub to relax in.

The room size was great for 4 people, it was clean and convenient. The pool was lovely, clean and quiet, the gym was an added bonus and the breakfast was excellent. The air conditioning unit was very close to one of the beds so the person on that side had a chilly sleep compared to everyone else.

Excellent breakfast, nice location, very friendly staff and spacious room
-
Fantastic place! Rooms are big enough not be cramped. Convenient to freeway and Philz coffee.
-
The hotel walks were paper thin. Heard people arguing, baby crying, dog barking. The room had a foul pet odor. It felt dirty.

What the property was dated, it was clean and provided all the needed amenities. The included breakfast was nice

Not over the moon! TV too small; refrigerator wasn't working correctly and was really loud. Had to move furniture and unplug it. Very noisy; needs some kind of sound proofing!

Great stay! We even convinced our family staying in another part of town to join us at the Corta Madera Inn. Great pool and delicious breakfast in the mornings. Would stay again!
