Person at the desk took my credit card and checked my id and then returned them. Never said why he wanted my credit card. I know it’s standard but tell me why you need it and what you’re doing with it.

We had a 6 night stay and found the property very clean, quiet and in a great location. We had a room for me and my husband and another room for my teen sons.

Staff was very helpful when we got to our room and discovered that the toilet was sluggish. The manager came right over with a specialized plunger & fixed it. Our stay was last-minute, but I wish we could’ve stayed longer!

The Evergreen Hotel in Corte Madera is a great example of why you should never judge a hotel by its adorable exterior. Let’s start with the shower pressure—or, more accurately, the gentle suggestion of water. The pressure was so bad my legs barely got wet. Honestly, the only way the shower could have been worse is if it simply didn’t work at all. At least then I would have known what to expect. Then there’s the barn door bathroom. Cute? Absolutely. Functional? Not unless you enjoy sharing every bathroom sound, smell, and activity with whoever you’re traveling with. Nothing says “relaxing hotel stay” quite like absolutely zero bathroom privacy. And the pillows deserve special recognition. They look perfectly innocent until you put your head on one, at which point they puff up approximately six inches and launch your neck into an angle normally reserved for a chiropractor’s office. Sleep well! Need something from the front desk? Good luck! They seemed to be perpetually “on a break,” so I hope you don’t actually need anything during your stay. The hotel is very cute on the outside, and I can see what they were going for. Unfortunately, once you get past the Instagram-worthy exterior, the actual experience is pretty disappointing. Basically: adorable hotel, questionable execution. Save your neck, your privacy, and your patience—and maybe stay somewhere else.

Very good! Clean and nice staff

My room was next to housekeeping closet so I was awoken early by the door opening and closing.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.
-
Lots of noise from adjoining rooms. Shower not clean enough for my standards.
-
Everything about this property was excellent except for the overall construction. The walls must not have sound insulation in them as I could hear the person in the room next to mine snoring pretty much all night.

Disappointing

Our room was very clean. The property was also very clean and there was free parking. My only comment would be the lack of a closet in our room. Our room didn’t have shelves or drawers to put our clothes away. We lived out of our suitcases for the week that we stayed

Convenience. Cleanliness. Iron. Sound insulation. Lack of storage space (closet, dresser; there was none). Light broken and not fixed after notice to the office. Barn door to bathroom (insufficient privacy).

The room was very clean, however I had to ask the front desk for towels. I should have also asked for toilet paper. We had less than a 1/4 which was carefully folded very nicely, but there was no replacement roll. The A/C worked well, the bed was extremely comfortable, the room was quiet.

We stayed here for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The property appeared to be newly opened, and we may have been among its first guests. Everything was extremely clean, modern, stylish, and well maintained. The room felt comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and the entire place had a fresh, upscale atmosphere. It was also very quiet, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.
