The room was very clean and the staff accommodated my late arrival without issue. The table and night stand were in VERY poor condition, especially the night stand. They need to be replaced, and the plastic covering needs to be removed from the refrigerator.

Very comfortable bed. Also appreciated refrigerator and microwave No ice, shampoo, hairdryer or coffee. No lamp beside bed. Overall shabby appearance.

The gentleman, that received me at arrival, was very friendly, and polite. And the First maid Lady at arrival was also friendly. The 2 nd maid lady her name is Tula. The Tamalpais Motel is the best place, where is close to Sausalito, Tiburon, Tennessee Valley, Golden Gate, Marin Headlands. Everyone this will be my home base when I am in town. Thank you Tamalpais Motel.

This is a VERY budget hotel with few amenities and lots of freeway noise. As long as you can accept that reality, this is an ok place to stay. The room was clean. There was no explanation of how to log into wi-fi (had to call to get password). There was a TV, small fridge and microwave (which I didn't use). The bathroom was small and cramped but also clean. There was no place to set down my bathroom supplies. Would not stay here again, but the circumstances forced it and I was able to get a tolerable night's sleep despite the freeway noise.
