Acqua Hotel

We’ve stayed often at the Acqua and it never disappoints. The staff is great, rooms are nice and have lovely views of Mill Valley and Mt. Tam. The included breakfast is awesome. There is a nice walking path around Richardson Bay, and quick access to Hwy 101 takes you to SF, Sausalito, Napa, or wherever you plan to go.

Great staff, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, nice amenities including wine, cheese, and fruit in evenings and fresh cookies at night. Beautiful setting.

It is an old property which has been renovated. Comfortable beds, nice linen and towels, good products in the bathroom. Thank you for the wine and chocolates! The hit freshly baked cookies in the evening were delicious. Cosy lobby. Breakfast could be tastier and improved. It was a great effort at a buffet, but the quality could be better. Hotter coffee, riper fruit, tastier frittata .. Overall good stay.

Room was spacious, with a good view, bed and shower both very good. Breakfast was nice. Room was probably right above the kitchen - so am awaken by smell of cooking bacon early in the morning.

Great front office staff. Nice to have breakfast available.

We had a great stay at Acqua. The rooms were lovely and staff very friendly. The included breakfast was very good as well. We also loved taking the bikes out for a ride around the bay. All was good, nothing to not like.

Lovely hotel and rooms, towels were rough and toilet paper like cardboard, everything else was excellent, would stay again.

Lovely breakfast, clean rooms. Did not like there was no restaurant or bar. High noise level from guests and events. View great, staff very nice. Cleaning rooms was confusing. One day (we had a four day stay) the cleaning staff began at 4:45 pm. Layout of the bathroom was silly. Toilet paper too far from toilet which faced the bed. Odd. Shower cramped. Again, no bar or restaurant. to get ice you had to go to 2nd floor....very inconvenient.

The location was beautiful . Right on the water. The staff was a little disorganized, but it was a big weekend with multiple weddings.

Very clean waterview rooms. Great breakfast buffet. The rooms aren’t cheap, but that’s the reality of the bay area.

Very clean room. Great location. The staff was super helpful in recommending things to do. The breakfast was so amazing that it actually got my teenager out of bed for it. Parking was okay… as we did have to park in back but our room was up front and the walkway to the front rooms should have been lit up better at night. Overall was a great experience and we would definitely stay again.

Certainly it is a good location although directly on 101. Nice breakfast and very good latte! It is not a $400 hotel! Sorry! The walkways to room are full and borderline cheap and tacky and our room which was all that was available was a misnamed suite only because it was a corner room which had a partial view of the water and the other of a rooftop. The bathroom was uselessly massive because of the corner room configuration and included nothing but what all the other rooms had- a little weird so do not get a corner suite room! Nice hotel but some misses for sure- I was wishing we had stayed at the Holiday Inn across from the Buckeye at a fraction of the cost and as nice.

incredible stay for couples. remarkably helpful staff, solid breakfast, good area with good food. close enough to muir woods / point reyes to take day trips in nature, while the city is 15-20 minutes away. would highly recommend.

The room was great and had a beautiful view overlooking the water. The bed was really comfortable and breakfast was excellent. I loved the nightly cookies! Great little spot for our weekend away.
