Courtyard San Francisco Larkspur Landing/Marin County

Front desk person called the cleaning staff to have the room cleaned. Came back 45 minutes later and room was not ready. This was already 3:30pm and check in was at 4pm. Was told to come back again. At 4pm I was told the room will not be ready for another 45 minutes. Then the supervisor said check-in "starts" at 4pm and was about to give me some spiel, but I had to cut her off to say I have never heard of this but expected to be in at 4pm because I needed to get ready and leave my room at 5pm. I had to catch the ferry across the way to go to an event for work, which was the entire reason I chose this hotel. Now they started checking with the cleaner and looking in the computer for another room. They finally gave me what must have been the only other room not being used. Do not understand why cleaner just ignored the instruction to clean a specific room, knowing someone was waiting. Apparently she just did whatever she wanted instead of taking care of guests. Other people checked in while all this happened, I was the only one waiting which means this one room could have been jumped ahead and cleaned easily, but she wouldn't do it.

Clean, Staff was very helpful. Great location. Farmers market and shops across from the parking lot. 30-40 min uber from the San Francisco piers. Fabulous stay!

Fantastic location for convenient access to shopping and dining. Not a fan of how thin the walls and doors were…could hear everything around us. Overall, nice stop but might choose another option if a good one was available.

Convenient location very nice staff It looked worn with the carpet needing replacing. Furniture in lobby looked scattered. The room had a nice sofa and ottoman but the bed was close to the wall with barely any room to get out of the bed on that side because it was so close to the sofa at the foot of the bed? Odd layout otherwise the room was fine. You had to watch TV from the side?

Convenient, comfortable, clean, love the pool, very pretty environment, most of staff very helpful.

Pool, cafe, cleanliness and comfort of rooms. Staff very friendly and accommodating, I appreciate the easiness of the staff. We will return again sometime soon. Thank you.
