B&B La Dolce Casa Lago di Como

Wonderful location!! With easy access to the ferries in Menaggio and Tremezzo (short drive). Great home base for exploring Lake Como. The drive to the accommodation was not difficult as some have stated. If you are a decent driver it is quite easy in fact. The room was spacious and very clean! The view from our room was beautiful and so peaceful. Wonderful hospitality, we felt right at home!! Elisa goes above and beyond to take care of you! She made us eggs and fresh squeezed orange juice in the mornings and the breakfasts were so fresh and delicious. She was so helpful and helped us with laundry and everything that we needed. We can see why she is so highly rated, amazing stay!! We loved our stay with Elisa and would definitely stay here again!! Nothing! Everything was so great!

Absolutely perfect experience. My host Elisa was perfectly welcoming and runs the B&B excellently. A friendly hospitality at breakfast with advice when needed. Very nice B&B! Eliza is amazing, she was always open to listen to us. Gave us tips. The rooms are very clean and also the kitchen! The little garden is also very nice and the cats are so lovely. Looking at Luna playing in the garden just maked you smile! The B&B is on top of the hill and it‘s a little bit more difficult to get there, the roads are very small and a lot of traffic. But that is nothing the B&B can change!! It‘s not their fault.

We loved the location, the space, the views, the little mountain town, the breakfast, and the host was absolutely amazing!! We loved everything!

Room was clean, spacious and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful view from balcony. Host was super friendly, breakfast was good. You can also use fridge, kitchen etc there. Overall a very nice place to visit if you have a car! At first the road to the property was a challenge because its uphill and narrow sometimes, but eventually I got used to it. If you book this place, you should definitely have a car!

Much better than expected! The place, the Owner, the room, the breakfast - all great! Amazing value! If it is available - go there! Remember to get the car. I think it is hard to stay there without one.

I had a great time, it is even better than in the photos. If in the area, I would come back.

The host and her husband are incredibly generous. We made the mistake of not renting a car and they picked us up from the bus station day one and dropped us off at the ferry on our last day! We loved everything about our stay! Hope to visit again

Elisa's B&B is a delight. Cozy and cute kitchen area with everything you may need. The garden is refreshing and the little village neighborhood of Cremia is so pretty. It's a nice stroll down lots of stairs to the lake, or you can use an ebike that is provided. I loved being up on the hillside. The cats are super friendly, Elisa and her family are wonderful. I highly recommend staying here. It's a great spot for being located further up the lake but still close to the Menaggio ferry, and the views of the mountains are incredible. Easy parking was such a relief. My legs didn't really like walking up all the hillside stairs, after all the hiking I did ? even though it's a beautiful walk through olive trees and sheep fields.

The hostess Elise could not have been friendlier or more helpful. I loved my stay at La Dolce Casa. and I loved the good coffee and sweet treats with breakfast.

Huge kichen where you can spend your evenings, also nice garden. The way to the appartments is tiny.

We really loved our stay at Elisa‘s place. She is a super kind host, helpful and everything you could wish for. Our breakfast was delicious (thank you for the homemade cake, my favorite). Also, big thank you for washing and ironing our clothes and a big hug to nonna from me. The room was clean, beautiful and had a great view of the lake and mountains. We received E-bikes to ease the steep walk from the accommodation to the city center, where the bus station is, which gave the journey a special charm. Cremia is underrated and I felt at much more ease than in crowded towns like Bellagio and Varenna. For me, this little, safe town has a special place in my heart thanks to my host and the atmosphere. There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

Our host was absolutely fantastic and so helpful and friendly. The room and views where beautiful and location was lovely. Our host even took the time to wash our clothes and hang them for us to dry.

Staying here was like staying at home and that is because it is a HOME not just a b&b. The location has only 3 rooms for guests and the owners live on site as well. There is a beautiful home garden and their two cats are always around playing. The kitchen is an extention of the house where you have breakfast but you can also make use of the fridge, dishwasher, cooking top and espresso machine any time you want. They also have two electric bikes available for rent, which was a nice addition as the location is up the hill and it was nice to rent them out for a day in Bellagio. There is literally nothing to dislike.
