Staff were amazing, the atmosphere was delightful and it was a great stay! So many amenities. Love the convenience of the restaurant next door with great food & coffee & their staff wonderful, too! A very homey & inviting place to stay.

We have stayed in many places in the hills as we go there often. The Bavarian Inn has become our favorite. The little (and big) attention to details is beyond compare. Clean and tidy with a touch of whimsy and beauty is an accurate description. We love the outdoor pool and the adjacent hiking trail. The flowers are absolutely gorgeous and well maintained.

Great property with a lot of amenities including nice comfy hammocks. Easy access to Custer state park and Crazy Horse. The cafe on the property was convenient and reasonably priced. Lots of food options nearby.

Very unique property. My son loved the pickle ball. Everything was beautifully maintained. We definitely come back.

The Bavarian Inn is a yearly tradition for us! We love how clean and comfortable the rooms are as well as the amenities for everyone to enjoy. 2 pools, hot rub and yard games

Beautiful property, stunning flowers, great pools and amenities outside. Room was perfect except for bathroom smelled moldy. Only negative amongst tons of positives...just needs to be dealt with unfortunately.

Fantastic stay. All the little details did not go unnoticed. Indoor and outdoor pool, fresh cookie hour each day, free laundry services. Very close to center of Custer town. 10/10 recommend a stay here!

Love all the family activities and amenities, but wished the room had better a/c and doors didn't have large gaps letting in outside air. Very cute property and friendly staff. However, the floors and carpet are in need of deep cleaning as feet got dirty just walking around in the room.

I definitely recommend,old world charm,great cafe for breakfast,great pool and hot tub and if you’re around during the day there’s free milk and chocolate chip cookies,great staff!

We were in Custer to see Crazy Horse, Mount Rushmore and the surrounding area. The hotel location was excellent, with very short drives to both monuments. The room was clean and comfortable, and the grounds were nice with paths, a pool, picnic tables and other activities. We only stayed a night, but for those on longer stays the laundry facilities seemed clean and convenient. The hotel has a breakfast restaurant on property, and it is close to numerous restaurants in downtown Custer.

This place is like going back in time. It is older but very well maintained. It’s quiet and comfortable and dog friendly. I will definitely stay again next time through. The inn is very close to the town with lots of restaurants.

Incredible staff....very helpful

This was a cute little hotel with an amazing staff. The hotel is older and could use some updating, but they make up for that with their customer service. Beds were comfy.
