Our room was perfect for 2 people. Call ahead if you need a larger space for the family. Great stop if you plan to visit Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Memorial or Mt. Rushmore.

It is a very quaint old style motel. The owners are extremely nice and friendly. The value is very good. It was very clean. I enjoyed my stay more than I thought because of how nice they were and how clean. Good location to walk to town for food and drinks. AC a bit loud, and no ability to open windows. No bath fan. Also room slightly dark.

No breakfast provided which we knew. There was coffee and tea available in the office. The room was very clean. Staff friendly. Other guests were quiet. There weren’t any dressers to put your clothes away. There also wasn’t an iron and ironing board available. I usually stay at places with these amenities. The air conditioning was hit or miss; either it was really cold or warm. We couldn’t find a happy medium. We generally stay at Hilton based properties. Surprisingly, the rates at this hotel were more than I had paid for my Hilton stays and breakfast and a pool wasn’t part of the deal.

Close to The Mickelson Trail. Easy access to room and vehicle. Cutely decorated. Got to meet other people doing the Mickelson supported ride. Shower faucet came off and most of the water went behind the spout. Room smelled damp and the windows were moist in the mornings.
