Location and friendly staff Bathrooms could be little better

Amazing view at day and nighttime. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was nice and spacey. The tiny attic beds in the dorm were very cute and made the room authentic and unique. Enough spots to hangout. It’s quite a walk to get up to the hostel, especially with your bags(so be prepared). The sphere was a bit off and the staff was not really nice nor helpful.

The hostel has an amazing view of the city and is actually right next to an Incan Site! The staff were very friendly. I spent Christmas eve and New Year’s eve here and felt very at home. The dorm beds were super big and comfy and I loved that the lockers were attached to the bed - with this and the curtains, it felt like you had your own room. There was often loud music playing at the bar and the rooms are very close to the bar. Of you are waking up early for a trek or tour, this is not ideal. They would turn down the music at 11pm though. The food, drink, taxi services etc are all very overpriced. I arranged a taxi through them to the airport and paid 40 soles, the taxi driver told me it should have been 15 soles. There is no common kitchen. It would have been wonderful to have more comfortable lounging furniture on the patios to enjoy the views.

Supertramp has the perfect balance of chill and social vibes. The food is great (and won't upset your stomach) and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The dorm beds are comfy too. Make sure you attend the free salsa class on a Thursday if you can! Be prepared for the walk up the hill! But, it does mean that you have great views of the city and you're in a great, safe part of town.

The free infusions In my 2 months trip throught Peru it is the most expensive-worst experience I had in a double bedroom. 20 sol charge to change my first bedroom (I changed because for 150 soles I expected the room to be quiet but it is build right in the middle of restaurant and terrace with no sound insulation! Seriously… And the second I took (for 160 soles) was big but had no windows, smell of mold, it feels like a cave, the bathroom is to tiny you can’t even put your stuff inside, the flush wasn’t even working normally, one of the two bed lights wasn’t working…. For me my stay in this hostel was a disaster and a lost of money. I wanted to stay 4 nights but I left after 1. I just can not believe they charge so much for this! It does not deserve this price, 80-90 soles at most Also, the behaviour of the staff was unprofessional and I felt like disturbing a group of friends that had others things to do !

I stayed in the Torquoise room. Very spacious, big shower, hot water, wifi. Staff were friendly and kind. Wouldn't say this is a party hostel. Like most of Cusco there are lots of stairs to climb to get here. The room is smack central to everything in the hostel, I used my space heater as white noise as I am a light sleeper and slept soundly.

The hostel is set up the hill and has beautiful views of Cusco! The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was really tasty. Great location and value for money. I had a private room right next to the reception/restaurant and it was slightly noisy early in the morning (deliveries?).

The hot water was nice. The location, so difficult to find & the hike going up (with our luggages/bags) was so challenging, we had palpitations! Likewise, room wasn’t soundproof as we could hear the noise from the restaurant/reception at night, hence we didn’t sleep well. Also, the staff didn’t answer most of our messages promptly. But when we called to ask to book the taxi, so far they replied right away. But we had arrived late, and the pathway was dark. We went out for dinner & when we came back, taxi driver didn’t know the place & stopped us at a different accommodation so we got lost in the cold. Good thing there was google maps & had to ask a local where it was. Also, we left early for our tour the next day, 6 to 8am & breakfast was not yet ready & no packed breakfast possible. You have to wait until around 8am when staff starts coming & will be able to make breakfast.

Great hostel in a lovely location. The staff were great and so helpful and accommodating making a gluten free breakfast for me. The turquoise room was spacious and great for a couple, the bed comfy, and the water in the shower really hot. Taxi service to/from the airport was great and reasonably priced. I really struggled with the cold on the night - a heater in the room would have been amazing.

They have curtains in front of the beds.

The staff were super helpful and kind. The view from the reception/restaurant would have to be one of the best in the whole city. There are really nice restaurants within 10mins walking and you can hear the birds chirping in the morning. The dorms were also super comfy and cute. That most tours start before 8am and breakfast only starts at 8am. Kind of no point offering it free with booking when most of the time you can't access it. And the steps ?

Great hostel. Not too social, not too boring, just ideal for all kinds of flavours!
