Ankawa Hotel Boutique

The location is actually good but because of the proximity to the street, car honks and alarms every 2 minutes throughout the night and bad sound isolation made it very difficult to sleep.

Nuestra experiencia en Ankawa fue excelente. La habitación era amplia, muy limpia y contaba con todas las comodidades necesarias para una estancia confortable. Además, el hotel dispone de calefacción, algo que se agradece en los días más fríos de Cusco. Todo el personal, especialmente los chicos de recepción, fue muy amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Cuando debíamos salir muy temprano para los tours, nos preparaban snacks e hidratación para llevar, un detalle que realmente valoramos. La ubicación es fantástica, a pocos minutos de la Plaza de Armas, lo que permite llegar caminando a templos, museos, restaurantes, bancos y los principales atractivos turísticos. Otro aspecto muy conveniente es que los operadores turísticos pasan a recogerte directamente en la puerta del hotel. El desayuno también nos pareció muy bueno y suficiente para comenzar el día. Sin duda, si regresamos a Cusco, volveríamos a hospedarnos en Ankawa. ¡Excelente relación calidad-precio! ?? Como único detalle, al estar en una calle principal, se percibe algo de ruido, aunque eso se puede solucionar fácilmente llevando tapones para los oídos.

The location was good: the train station, downtown, and restaurants were close. We were able to pay by international card. The staff was absolutely lovely, and the room was really comfy. It was amazing for the price. There is also free local tea at reception. It only has stairs (it wasn't a problem for me, but good to know).

Really good location. Walking distance to almost everything. Nice friendly staff. No elevator. Difficult to carry everything up three sets of stairs.

Hot water didn't work. Even after asking front desk for help in advance, when I went to shower a few hours later the water was room temperature. Also, internet was not good. Devices would not stay connected to the networks and the speed was slow.

The wifi was extremely slow, so we just had to use our data here since nothing would load on the wifi which was frustrating. Also, our room was facing the street so it did get a bit loud, but if you have earplugs or are a deep sleeper, then this probably wouldn't be a big problem.

Breakfast was so so Cleaning was scheduled for 12 the latest, place was very cold, hot water took forever to come on. Place was dated, picture is not true

Friendly staff, excellent location, comfortable room and bed, great breakfast. The staff advised us about what to eat and drink in our first day in Cusco. The staff stored our baggage prior our check-in time.

It was very noisy in the morning, as the staff began cleaning the neighboring room at 6 a.m. with a very loud radio. Additionally, a light in the room stayed on all night and could not be turned off.

Great location, good breakfast, comfy bed and the heating unit was a treat!!

Hotel is well located, 10 minutes to the main square. There are plenty of restaurants and shops near the hotel. Hotel offers hot water all the time for guests which is a plus considering the high elevation. Staff is great, professional and kind, there are always happy to help. Mijaid and Sandra at the front desk were very informative, courteous, and professional, they will always have an answer for you. Breakfast is great, all what you need to start your morning...eggs, ham, cheese, bread, fruit, coffee and tea. Brkfst ladies were nice as well. I recommend this hotel. Not applicable
